"Talent agency or contractor" info should be left out of the profile section. To me, this information changes as fast as they change music group affiliation. --WaterOB 11:21, 23 Aug 2007 (CDT)

Meaning of the Chinese zodiac entry

What is actually listed in the profile under "Chinese zodiac"? Is it the year or the lunar month? I assume the latter. Checking the Wikipedia article and comparing the pages Tang Yan (1986) (Pig was changed to Tiger byTangyanzixuan) and Tang Yan (Pig, why???) left me a bit clueless. We need a note which explains that. And yes, I'm asking because I have no knowledge about Chinese culture. --MoerkJ talk 13:11, 27 April 2010 (UTC)

Here is a list of zodiac in relation to the western calendar: Chinese Zodiac by Western Calender. Tang Yan (1986) was born in Dec 1986, so she falls under Tiger Feb 09 1986 - Jan 28 1987. And, Tang Yan was born in Aug 1983, so she falls under Pig Feb 13 1983 - Feb 01 1984. Did it clear up some of the confusion? --WaterOB 16:11, 27 April 2010 (UTC)
I see. So it is refering to the year cycle (sexagenary cycle) and not to the month cycle. It's was kind of confusing because I saw the animal names listed for both cycles in that article and because the western zodiac is related to the months. I'll add a note in the article. --MoerkJ talk 18:36, 27 April 2010 (UTC)
So referring to WaterOB's Tiger Feb 09 1986 - Jan 28 1987, if one was born in Feb 08 1986, that would be in the year of the Ox, even in 1986, so that person would be born in the year of an ox? --Tangyanzixuan

Facebook and twitter-like external links

Facebook and twitter are notorious for having celebrity impersonators. And, it's difficult to distinguish between the real ones vs. the fake ones. I don't recommend including them in the External Link. --WaterOB 00:11, 5 August 2010 (UTC)
