Synopsis
The television serial was based on a legendary folk tale involving a snake spirit and her male lover, but was adapted in this version to include the presence of a black snake who is the snake spirit's mentor and the White Snake Spirit being trapped under the pagoda for 20 years, when in the original tale she was trapped under the tower for centuries.

- In celebration for the year of the Snake (2001), TCS and Taiwan Production proudly introduce their newest adaptation from the legendary tale of "White Snake and Green Snake". With the numbers of mixed casting, the production was shot mainly in China within 3 quick months. Leading cast included one of TCS's Golden Couple Christopher Lee and Fann Wong as well as Vincent Jiao and Zhang Yu Yan from Taiwan.
