Synopsis

A story about three young samurai from Tokai region who are bound by strong ties of friendship. Two of them leave their hometown for Edo, getting a chance to move up the ladder of success in the capital of shogunate Japan. Shingo, the one who is left behind in the small domain of Tokai, is unexpectedly told to go to Edo also, as a secret guard of the domain’s lord. In Edo, the three young swordsmen struggle selflessly to foil the conspiracy against their lord. Based on a novel by Miyamoto Masataka.
