Synopsis

It's a piece of precious history finally revealed. A story that ties love and destiny over the generations.

This tanpatsu (made-for-TV) jidaigeki drama was based on the novel by the public acclaimed Japanese writer Asada Jiro. During World War II, the Japanese government is planning vigorously to dominate all of Asia. Most of the Japanese captives were being kept at the small southern island. Food, water and first aid supplies were ordered by the Red Cross to be shipped to the small southern island. To prevent ships from being shot down by enemy fire during transition, the Red Cross issued what were called the "White Cross", protecting the ship from being fired upon. The Japanese Captain who will lead the mission has the White Cross that will be used secretly to transport the Japanese captives back to Japan to aid the domination project.
