Talk:Delicious Gakuin
From DramaWiki
Title
Looks like it's time to take this to the talk page.
The katakana in parentheses merely indicate how the kanji 美味 should be pronounced in this case. The title of the show is 美味學院, pronounced "derishasu gakuin" (delicious gakuin). In fact, if you visit the drama's official site (the URL for which, I might point out, contains the string "delicious-gakuin"), you'll note that the title bar doesn't display 美味(デリシャス)學院, but 美味學院(デリシャスガクイン), and that when it gives the title in the logo and all throughout the page, it's just written as 美味學院, except in "title.gif", where the furigana デリシャス are placed over the appropriate kanji.
- All right, just noticed that the parentetical katakana weren't among what was reverted; I already had most of what I just entered composed as an explanation for my edits when I noticed that they'd there'd been a revert. Still, the show's proper title is "Delicious Gakuin", for the reasons I just gave. -Blorp 16:20, 24 Mar 2007 (CDT)
- I see. I just checked the Japanese Wikipedia, and you're correct that it is "デリシャスがくいん". Although there are other sites that use "bimi" for 美味. I'll go ahead and change it back to what you had. Groink 16:24, 24 Mar 2007 (CDT)
