Talk:Japanese Drama Season - Winter 2007
From DramaWiki
Keep all drama entries intact
Unlike the tanpatsu listing where we remove the drama from the list once it airs, we keep all renzoku listed. This list also tracks the viewership ratings. So don't remove any of the dramas from this list. Groink 21:03, 6 Jan 2007 (CST)
Start of the week
Why was the start of the week changed to Sunday? All my Japanese calendars start the week on Monday, shouldn't we stick with the Japanese system like we do with times, dates and measurements? --Ina 01:43, 7 Feb 2007 (CST)
- I didn't realize Monday was the first day in Japan. I'll make the change. Thanks for pointing that out! Groink 01:46, 7 Feb 2007 (CST)
Bold-facing certain rating points
I thought you would bold-face the rating points that was the highest for that week? In other words, only one drama would have the top-rating for a given week. In several of the weeks listed, I'm seeing three different dramas with bold-face ratings for the SAME WEEK. For example, during the week of 1/8 thu 1/14, HYD2 (20.1), Furin Kazan (20.0) and Kare-naru Ichizoku (27.7) all have bold-faced points. I would think that Kare-naru Ichizoku should have the honor of the high rating for that week, and the other two shouldn't be bold-face. Or am I just mis-interpreting the entire purpose of this? - BUMP! Either someone explains it, or I'm going to enforce the highest rating per-week, which makes more logical sense than what's going on right now. Groink 20:54, 8 Feb 2007 (CST)
- I believe the reason this is happening right now is because in previous drama seasons, some of the editors (including myself) felt that any drama that receives a 20.0 and above should be bolded. You could say it was a habit when we posted up the ratings for a drama but, now that I've read the comment you made on top, it does make a lot of sense to only bold the highest rated shows of the week. I don't know about other editors, but I think you should implement this rule. --YtToshi 21:24, 8 Feb 2007 (CST)
- Interesting! I didn't know that. 20+ is actually pretty good nowadays. I'll let the others chime in. Or maybe have both - black for 20+ and may be a different color like red for the top rating in a given week. Groink 23:11, 8 Feb 2007 (CST)
- I definitly thought that we bold-faced averything higher than 20% starting with 20.0% I think we should keep it, but having the highest of the week in a different color is a good idea.--Ina 00:56, 9 Feb 2007 (CST)
