- Autumn Tale - all the typical melodramatic drivel.
- Couple of Fantasy - great in concept, mediocre in execution.
- Dal Ja's Spring - uneven pacing, but a heartwarming love story.
- Delightful Girl Choon Hyang - the definitive "jump the shark" drama.
- Fog Street - b.o.r.i.n.g.
- Goong - overrated and shallow.
- Hello! Miss - only mildly entertaining, completely forgettable.
- My Girl - witty, charming, and wonderful, but damn that shark jumping.
- Over the Rainbow - weak storyline, bland characters.
- Sweet 18 - sincere and sweet, still my favorite drama ever.
- Witch Amusement - certainly amusing, but written badly.

- 1 Litre no Namida - in one word, perfect.
- Akai Ito - a bit careless with its own story.
- Attention Please - funny and lighthearted.
- Beautiful Life - underwhelming, rather slow sometimes.
- Brother Beat - entertaining at first, putters out at the end.
- Buzzer Beat - good old-fashioned romance.
- Cat Street - calm pacing, not a lot of action.
- Friends 2002 - tolerable despite its cheesiness.
- H2 - surprisingly sincere and involved.
- Hachimitsu to Clover - great writing.
- Hanayome to Papa - cute, but unremarkable.
- Hanazakari no Kimitachi e - ridiculous and good fun, but the romance is sorely miswritten.
- Hidarime Tantei EYE - vanilla.
- Hotaru no Hikari - hilarious and... just hilarious.
- Kanojo to no Tadashii Asobikata - likeable, with a very memorable confession scene.
- Koishite Akuma - so campy and lame, it works.
- Koizora - typical, but effective.
- Long Vacation - a veteran, and it shows.
- Meitantei Conan - nothing like a good mystery.
- Nobuta wo Produce - profoundly great.
- Oh! My Girl!! - so disappointingly vanilla.
- Ohitorisama - pending.
- Orange Days - flawed in places, but lovely.
- Otomen - feel-good and funny.
- Ryusei no Kizuna - won't blow you away, but good.
- Seishun Energy (Mo Hitotsu no Sugar & Spice) - four thumbs down.
- Sekai no Chuushin de, Ai wo Sakebu - a little disrupting in storytelling, but good.
- Shokojo Seira - pending.
- Slow Dance - more like a slow crawl.
- Sora Kara Furu Ichioku no Hoshi - not for the casual watcher. Not for the SANE watcher.
- Sunadokei - long and wishy-washy, but meaningful.
- Taiyo no Uta - beautiful all around.
- Tatta Hitotsu no Koi - romantic sap rarin' to go.
- Zettai Kareshi - nice attempt, but a little bland.
Taiwanese Dramas
- Autumn's Concerto - pending.
- Bull Fighting - okay overall.
- Devil Beside You - very watchable, but the tangents are unnecessary.
- Fated to Love You - swerved off track and wrecked in slow motion.
- Hua Yang Shao Nian Shao Nu - great for the majority of the ride, but ended horribly.
- Miss No Good - feel good and satisfying.
