Don't take everything literally
I understand that you're trying to follow the guidelines of DramaWiki to the letter. And we appreciate that effort. However, one of the things you missed is that when deciding on the correct romaji spelling of an artist or drama:
- The official spelling (usually provided by the talent agency) should be used.
- If no official spelling is available, the spelling that comes up with the most hits in a Google search should be used.
- If the spelling still can't be decided on (i.e. the search results are too close too call), then the Hepburn romanization rules should be used.
The logic behind this is that a large majority of the DramaWiki readers find the resources here via search engines. If the spelling of proper nouns (artist names, places, names of dramas) differ from the majority, then our articles will not surface to the top of the search results. An example of this is Itoh Misaki. Again and again, some people keep pushing the idea that her name should be spelled Ito Misaki (long o) or Itou Misaki (to handle the long o using the 26 basic roman letters). Despite the fact that her web site does spell her name as "Ito", and Hepburn spells her name as "Itou", the majority of geinokai fans all around the world decided on "Itoh". So before changing anything due to spelling, please consider these factors beforehand.

- sorry, didn't mean to be strict. In the case of Tanaka Yoji I did not find an official spelling (perhaps BoBA:)) and on Google I found a lot of hits for both spelling, so I acted. sorry again. I'll be more cautious.
