Your Korean artist template
Please do not use the existing articles as examples when developing your template. You had in your template "Birthday:" and that is totally incorrect. The official profile format is covered in this article: DramaWiki:Korean_Artist_Article_Formatting
Reason why birthday is wrong... When you ask a person, "What's your birthday?", he'll only tell you the month and day, but not the year. That's because for most people your birthday is celebrated every year. "Birthdate" is a better word to use, as this word is specific to the exact day, month and year you were born. Also, if you come across "Date of birth", that is also incorrect; please change them to "Birthdate" if you find them. Thanks! Groink 01:02, 15 Aug 2008 (CEST)
Re: TV Series vs. TV Shows (Korean)
Just dropped by to say thanks for making the category pages for Kdramas in 1983-1990! I hadn't found time to do those yet after the 500 Years of Joseon Dynasty article. --Hanjae 07:13, 19 April 2010 (UTC)
- You're welcome - Great job on all eleven shows - I didn't know they had those TV shows back in the 80's - and with so many familar korean stars. I also noticed that you referenced that great database. They had an exhaustive profile on each actor & role in the Age of Warriors article (that I couldn't translate). --Imian 02:42, 20 April 2010 (UTC)
Lee Je Hoon
Page Lee Jae Hoon (1984) is now merged with Lee Je Hoon. As reminder for future edits, please always check if a page is in existence before creating a new one. If the Hangul romanization was incorrect, move the page to the correct romanization instead of creating a new one. Thanks. --WaterOB 01:09, 23 August 2010 (UTC)
Yes, I am trying to do that, but only limited to the dramas they are acting in. Why, if I might ask? --Ryuu_kujirai 09:23, 1 September 2010 (WIB)
- I was looking through the categories that needed creating when I saw AKB48. Since no other singing group in DramaWiki had their own category, I thought that I would check with you.
There is a lot of stuff out there about them (http://wiki.jpopstop.com/wiki/AKB48) and it is a lot of people, but do they need a DramaWiki category?
It's true that a category would easily and automatically link each AKB48 group member name together within DramaWiki -
Pages in category "AKB48" The following 3 pages are in this category, out of 3 total. K Kasai Tomomi O Oshima Yuko S Shinoda Marikobut
- but there are many Jpop, Kpop groups who don't have their own DramaWiki category. Remember that even though you want the category to be "only limited to the dramas they are acting in", The category would be actually just list the "name" of each AKB48 group member, not their "drama" they acted in. Is this what you want? --Imian 10:04, 1 September 2010 (UTC)
