Synopsis
Iwase Koichiro was working in the sales department of a large home electronics company, when he was retrenched due to a company restructuring. With an outstanding mortgage and a young wife, he needs to continue working for another 10 more years before he can even think of retiring. While taking a taxi ride, he pours out his story to the driver, who in turns recommends him to try for a job at the Private Investigators (PI) firm "Playboys Detective Agency" which is owned by an ex-police detective, Tsuchiya Genroku. Within this PI firm, every single one of the PI are above 55 years old, and they come from all walks of life. Yui Toraji, ex-stockbroker and Olympic champion; Taura Kaname, ex-delivery man turned taxi driver; Horikiri Tamotsu, ex general practitioner. This bunch of old men are managed by the only woman in the company, Isogai Miyuki, who is known for her sharp tongue. Together, they resolve their clients' cases one by one. --by TV Tokyo
