Synopsis[edit]
During the ancient Chinese times, the Dong Yi and Jiu Li countries send out representatives on a quest to find the mystical goddesses to help protect and enhance their countries - the Vermilion Bird Lady of Jiu Li and the Azure Dragon Lady of Dong Yi. The fateful encounter begins in Peach Blossom Valley where both Su Mo and Fu Er grew up. Su Mo was an orphan adopted by Fu Er's parents and is a close sister to Fu Er, both of whom were destined as the Heavenly Maidens of the warring states whereas Chi Yu is the forsaken prince of Qing Qiu (Green Hills Country) due to a dark prophecy that he will kill his own father. The Vermilion Bird Lady and Azure Dragon Lady each have 7 star mansions (guardians) who will protect and lead them to summon the powers of the mystical creatures, which can offer them splendid strength and fulfill their wishes. Upon massacre of the entire Peach Blossom Valley, the girls set out with their guardians to find the sacred power to restore their valley to its peaceful times. However, with the Vermilion Bird and Azure Dragon as natural foes, Su Mo's kind nature, Chi Yu's evil alter ego, Shang Guan Jin's protection, Fu Er's blind jealousy towards Su Mo, and Bai Li Han's scheming plans, can everything proceed as planned?
