Cast members listed on Upcoming KDrama page
First of all, let me welcome you to the team at DramaWiki. We are always in need of enthusiastic and dedicated contributors to maintain the site. So, thank you in advance for your efforts.
I've noticed that you have recently added a number cast members to the Upcoming KDrama page. Given the constraints of the the table format, these cast members should generally be limited to the show's main stars (2-5 people). Supporting cast members will be eventually be listed on the individual show pages; we really don't need to list them all here. Thanks! --FritzB (talk) 10:29, 8 December 2019 (PST)
Here's an example of how to create a external link on a page:
It will appear like this on the page:
For Wikipedia links, you can instead use a wikilink like these:
*[[wikipedia:The Bride of Habaek|English Wikipedia]]
*[[wikipedia:ko:하백의 신부 2017|Korean Wikipedia]]
They will appear like this on the page:
Minor roles vs. Cameos
The term cameo or special guest appearance really should only be used for actors that are credited as such in the drama. The terms generally only apply to well-known A-list actors and celebrities who have taken small roles in dramas, typically as a favor to the director or one or more of the stars of the drama. Other small parts, such as those of many child actors, are generally not considered cameos; they are just simply minor roles. --FritzB (talk) 07:42, 21 December 2019 (PST)
File names for Images
When adding images to DramaWiki, please make sure to name the image files something that easily identifies the subject, such as an artist's name or show title, etc.
Guidelines for using images on DramaWiki can be found here: DramaWiki Style Guide - Imagery
Please do not add Education to Profile sections of Artist's pages
Please do not add an artist's educational background to the Profile section of Artist's pages. This type of information can be added in the Trivia section of the page.
Reminder about image File names
Just a reminder... When adding images to DramaWiki, please make sure to name the image files something that easily identifies the subject, such as an artist's name or show title, etc. File names like Images (2).jpg or MBCtLBGsK=~2.jpg are no good. Thanks! --FritzB (talk) 09:20, 21 April 2020 (PDT)
Copying from dramalist
Please check if the pages exist already on Dramawiki before blindly copying from dramalist. Sometimes you would have noticed that the dramalist synopsis is copied from dramawiki, in the case of Duo Meng and Guo Ke Cong Cong. Also, when you are creating new pages, do not blindly copy and paste from dramalist and chinesedrama.info, and write your own synopsis.
Hi, first of all thank you for your great contributions to dramawiki. Just a gentle reminder when you upload a new profile photo, please have a look at image guideline. A clear picture showing a headshot / face is preferable. Some good examples can be seen here. Thank you. --Natokajun (talk) 22:55, 9 May 2020 (PDT)
