Synopsis
During a pilgrimage to a temple, Princess Zhen encountered monk Yu Lin. The sight of him brought back memories of their tragic love in their past life. Not wanting to part with him again, she insisted on marrying him. He rejected her numerous advances as she was a princess and he was monk devoted to his religion. In the end, she accepted that although he cared for her his heart was with Buddha. Instead of becoming his wife as she wanted, she remained by his side as his most loyal Buddhist disciple.
