He invites the inexperienced Hiyori to get help with cases from the share house members. Natsume Soichiro (Nishijima Hidetoshi) did not fit into the police organization or private security, and now serves as the caretaker of the home after he took early retirement. Sakota Tamotsu (Kadono Takuzo) retired as a veteran detective with about 40 years of experience. Todo Masato (Noguchi Goro) is a retired forensic scientist with medical specialty, and has forensic equipment at the share house. His second ex-wife, Sugioka Saya (Nishida Naomi), is Hiyori's commanding officer.
