==Biography==
Terence Cao was a flight steward before joining the then Singapore Broadcasting Corporation (SBC) in 1989 after completing the SBC 9th Professional Drama Performers' Training Course. After two supporting roles in [[Sweet Dreams]] and [[Imperial Intrigue]], Terence obtained his big break in [[Fatal Endearment]] where he portrayed a rich man's son caught in a love triangle. Being the male lead of numerous drama serials, Terence has proved himself to be a diligent actor who is very keen in taking up diverse roles.

In 1995, Terence became the first full-time artiste to successfully hold his debut mini concert in Canto Pub. His singing talent was further justified as he sang the theme song for [[Triad Justice]], a serial where he played a major role. His latest singing vehicle is that of a duet with actress [[Cynthia Koh]] for MediaCorp Music's compilation album in 2002.

In the telemovie "Deep In The Night", Terence was cast opposite Hong Kong actress [[Loletta Lee]]. With the filming done in Hong Kong, this project has given Terence immense exposure and experience working with Hong Kong artistes and production crew. In 2002, he teams up with Hong Kong ATV station in a 30-part courtroom drama [[Innocently Guilty]], holding court with regional stars like [[Anita Yuen]], [[Kent Cheng]] and [[Felix Wong]].

A finalist in the first Star Search 1988, Singapore's bi-annual talent search, Han Wei has played the male lead in numerous television drama serials and tele-movies. His popularity soared in 1995 after his convincing role as a caring teacher in The Morning Express. That subsequently led to an almost immediate sequel, The Morning Express II. Han Wei's melodic voice was showcased as he recorded the theme songs for The Morning Express Series and Cupid Love.

Having played various roles from the goody-two shoes to a bohemian rebel, Han Wei decided to take a break from acting to venture behind the scenes to explore image styling. ==Biography==
Terence Cao was a flight steward before joining the then Singapore Broadcasting Corporation (SBC) in 1989 after completing the SBC 9th Professional Drama Performers' Training Course. After two supporting roles in [[Sweet Dreams]] and [[Imperial Intrigue]], Terence obtained his big break in [[Fatal Endearment]] where he portrayed a rich man's son caught in a love triangle. Being the male lead of numerous drama serials, Terence has proved himself to be a diligent actor who is very keen in taking up diverse roles.

In 1995, Terence became the first full-time artiste to successfully hold his debut mini concert in Canto Pub. His singing talent was further justified as he sang the theme song for [[Triad Justice]], a serial where he played a major role. His latest singing vehicle is that of a duet with actress [[Cynthia Koh]] for MediaCorp Music's compilation album in 2002.

In the telemovie "Deep In The Night", Terence was cast opposite Hong Kong actress [[Loletta Lee]]. With the filming done in Hong Kong, this project has given Terence immense exposure and experience working with Hong Kong artistes and production crew. In 2002, he teams up with Hong Kong ATV station in a 30-part courtroom drama [[Innocently Guilty]], holding court with regional stars like [[Anita Yuen]], [[Kent Cheng]] and [[Felix Wong]].

==Synopsis==
The story begins from the 1930s, spanning over 70 years till modern day.

Ju Xiang is born into a big Peranakan family where her mum is a mistress. ==Synopsis==

==Biography==
Terence Cao was a flight steward before joining the then Singapore Broadcasting Corporation (SBC) in 1989 after completing the SBC 9th Professional Drama Performers' Training Course. After two supporting roles in [[Sweet Dreams]] and [[Imperial Intrigue]], Terence obtained his big break in [[Fatal Endearment]] where he portrayed a rich man's son caught in a love triangle. Being the male lead of numerous drama serials, Terence has proved himself to be a diligent actor who is very keen in taking up diverse roles.

In 1995, Terence became the first full-time artiste to successfully hold his debut mini concert in Canto Pub. His singing talent was further justified as he sang the theme song for [[Triad Justice]], a serial where he played a major role. His latest singing vehicle is that of a duet with actress [[Cynthia Koh]] for MediaCorp Music's compilation album in 2002.

In the telemovie "Deep In The Night", Terence was cast opposite Hong Kong actress [[Loletta Lee]]. With the filming done in Hong Kong, this project has given Terence immense exposure and experience working with Hong Kong artistes and production crew. In 2002, he teams up with Hong Kong ATV station in a 30-part courtroom drama [[Innocently Guilty]], holding court with regional stars like [[Anita Yuen]], [[Kent Cheng]] and [[Felix Wong]].

==Synopsis==
The story begins from the 1930s, spanning over 70 years till modern day.

Juxiang is born into a big Peranakan family where her mum is a mistress. During the World War, Juxiang is tortured and both her husband and her dies leaving behind their 8-year-old daughter Yue Niang. After the war, Yue Niang's maternal relatives who ran away to England to seek refuge during wartime return home. Yue Niang then leads the life of her mother – always discriminated, beaten up and tortured. Yue Niang is then sold to a butcher, Liu Yi Dao. However, Yue Niang's strong personality impresses Liu Yi Dao and they become sworn siblings instead. Yue Niang decides to choose her own path in life. She begins learning how to run a business and she manages to overcome the odds and save her declining family business.
