==Synopsis==
A flourishing metropolis, the crowd bustling about, each one conjecturing a beautiful wish to wait for his or her fate. A beautiful story can take place anywhere, perhaps it's in the mall, perhaps it's in the cafe, or maybe it is in a subway.....

Some of these people's lives will take an interesting turn this day.
A beautiful blind D.J. with a beautiful heart, Jingjing is taking the subway to the radio station, and Yun Xiang, who is having problems at work, also happens to take this train home. The both of them have been in the same train several times; and it's as if they have been played by destiny, they have never met each other. But on this particular day, the cold-blooded Yun Xiang actually witnesses someone snatching Jingjing's handbag, and while supporting Jingjing, who had fell, becomes attracted by this refreshing blind girl unbound by conventions. He runs after the thief and gets Jingjing's handbag back to her, and also gives his hand-painted umbrella to Jingjing to be a temporary substitute for her blind stick, which had landed on the subway floor. Jingjing is very grateful, agreeing to meet again. Meet again, the hibernating seed watered by the spring dew, will cultivate into a bright, fresh flower. Will they meet again? It is unknown to Jingjing, and also unknown to Yun Xiang, because, after all life is full of unknowns.

When Jingjing was little, she lost her parents and eyesight due to a traffic accident. Since childhood, she has faced all aspects of life optimistically. But this kind of girl also has to encounter injustice. When she arrives at the radio station after the incident, what greets her is ... the appearance of well-known D.J. Tan Li Na. In order to accommodate Tan Li Na, Jingjing's program was moved to 10 o'clock at night. One cannot imagine how this decision will create difficulties to a blind person's way of life, but she accepts it.

Since he was younger, Yun Xiang was under the mistaken notion that his father Lu Ming Kai had an affair with his assistant Wang You and indirectly caused his mother's death. Therefore, he hated his father, and proceeded to give up his good life to grow up in an orphanage. He thought that this was the most positve day in his dispirited life, but when Yun Xiang pushes his exhausted body to anxiously paint draw Jingjing's likeness, he finds out his father is seriously ill in the hospital. He can not but take his complex moods to visit his father he has always hated.

Two people's destinies changed because of an acquaintance.
There was even more inconvenience for Jingjing when she arrived at the radio station. Her advertisement executive older sister Mingming is very worried about her, not consenting on Jingjing going to work alone. But she is so busy with work, and cannot do several things at once. Jingjing's boss Cheng Gao volunteers to take Jingjing to and from the radion station. But the ever so strong Jingjing persists that she wants to take care of herself. Mingming cannot stop her, and actually realized the fact that Cheng Kao likes Jingjing. Mingming vigorously works at getting them together, but it's impossible for Jingjing to have any feelings for her caring and talented boss because she wants to wait for the guy who let her borrow his umbrella.

Meanwhile, Yun Xiang's life appears to be more chaotic. At work, he clashes with his boss because of difference in opinions. At home, he is at a loss on how to face his father. His friends from the orphanage, Xiao Chen and Xin Hua provides him with much encouragement and love. But Yun Xiang is a person whose innermost feelings are sealed up, so no matter how hard his friends try, they cannot crack open his shell. Fortunately, Yun Xiang is moved by Jingjing's evening program, allowing his chaotic moods to finally calm down.

Many accidentals make decisions on the inevitable. After all the twists and turns, Jingjing finally gets an opportunity to personally return the umbrella to Yun Xiang. Yes - they meet again. The second meeting, the feelings between them is more intense, and the seed of love is rapidly being planted.

But when Yun Xiang takes Jingjing home, he meets a very familiar looking Mingming, unable to restrain himself in recalling past events.
The fact of the matter is, or was that Jingjing had a chance to restore her sight, because Yun Xiang's mother intended to donate her corneas to Jingjing before she died. Young Yun Xiang would not let anyone to touch his mother, and threatened to bang his head on the wall if they do. Jingjing couldn't let that happen, and gave up on this matter in the end.

Yun Xiang regrets about his past stubborness. After taking this painful experience to heart, he calls the hotline number as "Xiao Lu" and under chance circumstances tells Jingjing of his regrets, and makes a sincere apology.

Jingjing is greatly touched by this one phone call of apology. Jingjing's program is on fire, because everybody is searching for "Xiao Lu." Jingjing's heart is similarly on fire, because "Xiao Lu" only wants to be by Jingjing's side — — Yun Xiang bravely tells Jingjing he loves her, and after Jingjing is moved by it, she tactily consented.

But just when their relationship takes off, they are put to tough tests: Mingming objects to Jingjing being with Yun Xiang; and because of jealousy towards Jingjing, Tan Lina always launching attacks, and pretends to be "Xiao Lu" to hurt Jingjing; Xiao Chen, who loves Yun Xiang, is out to give Jingjing trouble, wants to break them up; Mingkai is worried about his son's happiness, doing bad things but with good intentions, so this not only increases the misunderstanding between father and son, it also puts tremendous pressure on Jingjing ...

All these factors saddens Jingjing, and wants to leave Yun Xiang. The obstinate Yun Xiang is unwilling to give up. Yun Xiang works very hard in saving his love relationship, but discovers he has a hereditary disease, and the chances of him recovering are slim. He knows he does not have long to live, and thereupon he signs an organ donor form to donate his corneas to Jingjing after his death because he wants to be with Jingjing forever!

Yun Xiang believes deeply: it's very difficult to grasp life, but holding on to love, so long as you persist, is definitely possible. Thereupon he uses the last splendor in his life to polish his and Jingjing's love ... Jingjing is visibly touched, and both pledges to be at each other's side no matter how difficult it is.

As before life still has many unknowns.....can Yun Xiang recover? Can Yun Xiang and Mingkai overcome their misunderstandings? Will Mingming, Cheng Kao, Xiao Chen find their true love? Will Yun Xiang and Jingjing get everyone's blessings? More importantly, will Yun Xiang and Jingjing be able to witness the cultivation of the bright, fresh flower they planted ...

==Synopsis==
At the end of the Sui Dynasty in ancient China in early 600AD, the country is ruled by the inept Emperor Yang Di whose excessive indulgences included women and a luxurious ship where he spends his time in merriment. The entire running of the court is thus passed on Yang Di's right-hand man Yang Su (Kent Cheng).

To consolidate and strengthen his power, the vicious Yang Su builds an underground fortress where he harbours numerous assassins at his disposal, one of the most prominent ones being Hong Fu (Shu Qi). Rescued by Yang Su's adopted son Du Gu Cheng (Kong Wah) at a young age from a band of thugs who also killed her parents, the beautiful, intelligent and highly-skilled Hong Fu eventually becomes Yang Su's favourite.

Indignant at the country's deplorable state, a young man Li Jing (Wallace Huo) arrives at the capital hoping to reverse the country's downward spiral. Hailing from a family which places patriotism and national welfare before personal safety, Li Jing's enthusiasm and prolific knowledge of martial arts and warfare places him in disfavour with Yang Su who views Li Jing a potential threat to himself. Yang Su promptly sends Hong Fu off to eliminate Li Jing.

Alas, Li Jing's hot-blooded patriotism and passion for the commoners has struck a chord with Hong Fu's own hidden desire to elevate the people's wretched misery. She warns Li Jing to leave town immediately, only to be caught on the spot by Yang Su's other assassins. To protect him, Hong Fu is forced to fight against them and to flee from the life she has known.

Even with Du Gu Cheng hot on the chase after them, Hong Fu and Li Jing manage to evade capture, with love blossoming between them. Along the way, they meet pugilist Qiu Ranke (Yu Rongguang), who joins them to become the third musketeer in the fight against the mutinous Yang Su and his cronies…

==Synopsis==
"I heard... when you give your loved one an emerald on a Bai Lu, when the sun is about to rise, you and that person, no matter how long, in any situation, will have an everlasting love"

The story begins at the Hainan island, two boys Nian Zhong (Wallace Huo) and Nie Kie (Hu Yu Wei) accidentally fall for a pretty yet unpredictable rich girl Mo Chia Chi( Sun Li). At school, Nian Zhong, to join the music class, intentionally uses his friend's name Nie kie and rightfully pretends as him. As an exhange, Nie Kie forces Nian Zhong to write love letters for him for Chia Chi. Because Chia Chi and Nian Zhong are attending the same music class, she finally gets to meet him as Nie Kie thinking that he is the mysterious
person behind those letters. Nian Zhong, to lessen up conflicts finally reveals his real identity, afterall, Chia Chi accepts it and likes him even more. To make it more real, Chia Chi , with full intention, inserts the other pair of emerald that she owns into Nian Zhong's pocket, one is with her and the other one is with him. One day, Nian Zhong's mother becomes very ill and eventually dies not so soon after. Nian Zhong then accepts his rich aunt's invitation to live with her family in Shanghai. "I will wait for you on my birthday.." those are her last words, Chia Chi then bids farewell to him. Unfortunately, on the actual day of her birthday, Nian Zhong sees her being kissed by Nie Kie, a heartbreaking moment that results into a complicated separation. But right, we are not even lovers, do I really love her?

After some time, after a long wait, on a cold street in London, they meet again and become lovers. But what kind of spell do legends give? bad tricks or joy? or might be both? One day, Nian Zhong receives a tragic news of Chia Chi's death in a plane crash.

Many years after, Nian Zhong goes back to Hainan and takes up a position in a first class hotel. He is surprised to find out that Nie Kie, his long lost friend, is also working there. And what is more surprising, is to see a familiar figure cutting accross, Chia Chi is alive ..with both legs paralyzed. She survived a car crash and not a plane crash. Nian Zhong is
startled, therefore is cheated by her, the truth, we do no know. Now that he is about to marry someone else, will things change?

Emerald on the Roof is a heartwarming tale of reality, love, friendship and success. Life is not perfect and is in fact full of sacrifices, in reality, most of us don't get a perfect nor happy closures, but what's important is, we know what to believe and we know how to wait, anyway life doesn't really have an end unless you die, anything is still and will remain possible, what is meant is what is really meant, even if it takes a whole lifetime to reach.

One morning, a very important person checked into the hospital. That person was President Liu's only daughter, Liu Xin Ping. She had developed acute leukemia. And for her ongoing chemotherapy, a Central IV line was to be implanted in the right atrium of her heart. Dr Su Yi-Hua was asked to perform this operation as he was a leading expert in the Central IV implantation.
 
However, a simple operation ignited a heated power struggle within the hospital. Liu Xin Ping's health became a triump card in which Dr. Tang Guo-Tai, head of sugery, and Dr. Xu Da-Ming, head of internal medicine, play to win the Hospital Director position. When Dr. Tang found out that his arch rival Dr. Xu appointed Dr. Su to perform the surgery, he was concerned that Dr. Xu's cancer treatment for the President's daughter would grab the spotlight and impact his chance to be the next hospital director. So on the eve of the surgery, he utilized his power as the head of surgery and replaced Dr. Su with Dr. Qiu Qing-Cheng, who was one of his people and far less experienced in the type of operation.
 
What should have been a holy and tranquil place of healing had become a battle ground where ambition reel it's ugly head.

It is the best Asian tv drama of all time! Meteor Garden is about Shan Cai, a poor girl, who attends Ying De University in Taipei, Taiwan. She is bullied by Dao Ming Sz, who is the leader of F4, also known as the "Flower Four." F4 are are sons of the richest corporate executives in Taiwan. Shan Cai is a tough girl who will not allow anyone to bully her around. In the midst of the hazing, Shan Cai starts to secretly fall in love with Lei because he is nice to her. Lei is Dao Ming Sz's best friend. However, Lei already has his heart set on Jing (his longtime childhood friend). Dao Ming Sz starts to secretly fall in love with Shan Cai after he sees how independent and tough she is to withstand him. In the beginning Shan Cai hates Dao Ming Sz because she thinks he's a big jerk. As the story unfolds and the love triangles tangle, a story of love, hate, sorrow, comedy, and passion takes over the audiences' emotions. Be ware of the addiction! Meteor Garden may change your outlook on life or perhaps rekindle old memories of the past.

I probably disagree with most people when I say that I think this is only a mediocre drama with a great script and bad acting. When I first started watching this, I found the acting a little exaggerated, and entirely too staged. I couldn't really "get into" the drama and care abo/ut the characters (which is a vital component to a good drama in my opinion). However, when I decided to read the script of Meteor Garden, I found it engaging and funny at times. Therefore, I concluded that it must've been the cast that originally turned me off. Although I wouldn't say that this drama is horrible, I think it's highly overrated. I'd much rather prefer spending my time watching [[Mars]], a Taiwanese drama that I believe, frankly, deserves a category of its own.

Bai Yang's father was wrongfully accused for selling fake drugs and was sentenced to death. Bai Yang sold off all the assets to fund his father's appeal. His fiancè, Zhang Xiao Man supported his effort despite her family's objections.
 
In the realm of the dead, there were four judges. One of the judges, Lu, disagreed with others as to the punishment for Bai Yang's father. Judge Lu believed that the father was only a fool and not inherently evil. If he were smarter, he would not have fallen for the fake drug scam, which led to innocent people's death and his own death. To test this theory, he and his collegue made a bet to switch the heart of a fool, Zhu Er Dan, to see if he would do good or evil with his newfound intelligence.
 
The smarter Zhu Er Dan witnessed Zhang Xiao Man being attacked and killed in the woods. Instead of trying to save her, he waited till she was dead and asked Judge Lu to switch his wife's head with the beautiful Zhang Xiao Man's head. Unwilling to resign to a lose bet, Judge Lu fulfilled Zhu Er Dan's request in the hope that Zhu Er Dan would do good in the future. Zhang Xiao Man arrived at the realm of the dead. She refused to be reincarnated because she didn't have a head. Being such, Judge Lu banished her to the depth of hell. Bai Yang discovered his fiancè's ill fate, and with the help of Dong Yue heaven lord, he went to the realm of dead and saved his fiancè. Finally, evil got it's punishment, and good got it's reward.

There was a wealthy family who had a beautiful daughter named A Bao. Sun Zi Chu，an ingenuous and dedicated veterinarian，who encountered A Bao while going home one day. He was so smittened by her, his spirit flew home with her. Fotunately, a Maoshan taoist priest saved his spirit. Days later, Sun met A Bao again. They spent a whole day together and developed feelings for one another. They agreed to meet the next day. However, when next day arrived, A Bao forgot everything about Sun. Sun probed into the reason and discovered that A Bao had developed a strange condition where sleep would wiped away her memory.
 
As it turned out, A Bao's memeory lost was a curse placed on her by Chai Shao An, a man A Bao rejected. Chai was furious that A Bao chose Sun over him and bended on sabotage. He didn't stop there, he also kidnap her. Luckily, A Bao's loyal parrot alerted Sun. He and Maoshan taoist priest broke the curse and rescued her from Chai's control. With this ordeal behind them, Sun proposed marriage to A Bao.
 
Chai, again, tried to sabotage by putting a death curse on Sun, who immediately died of sudden illness. The grief stricken A Bao committed suicide there after. When they both arrived at the realm of the dead, they begged the god of the dead to show them justice for their untimely death.

==Synopsis==
This drama is a retelling of a well-know love story between a goddess and a mortal.

The story started off with Goddess Xiao Qi ([[Ariel Lin]]) committing a major transgression. As a punishment, she was stripped of all her powers and banished to the mortal realm. She could only regain her goddess status by accomplishing 100 charitable acts.

Alone and helpless, she was rescued by a kind-hearted and earnest mortal named Dong Yong ([[Hu Ge]]). He taught her what's like to be a mortal. And through him, she learned to love and be loved in return.

But, gods are forbidden to love mortals. And, when their love affair was discovered, heaven guards descended onto the mortal realm to separate the two lovers. In the ensuing struggle, Dong Yong was severely injured and left to die. Pitying their fate, Xiao Qi's sisters sent forth Xiang Xue Hai ([[Cecilia Han]]) to save Dong Yong's life.

==Synopsis==
Empress Wu Zetian is the only throned women in the long history of ancient China. She was not born noble. Instead, she was a daughter of wood merchant names Wu Shihuo. In the ancient times, merchants were looked down upon as an inferior group, as they were always taken greedy and cruel. However, her mother was a noble of the previous Sui Dynasty, which had been replaced by Tang Dynasty after many wars between Yang Guang and Li Shimin. Therefore, Empress Wu's mother, Princess Yang, led a poor life until she was married at her forties. She bore two daughters for his husband, and the empress is their second daughter.

Wu Zetian was selected to the Imperial Palace at forteen, when Li Shimin was the emperor. He fell in love with Wu's beauty at the first glance but soon became interested in another pretty girl named Xu Hui, who was also a clever and smart girl as Wu. Once there was a song popular in the streets of Chang'an City, it sang that an empress with surname Wu would took up the throne and kill all the descendants of Imperial Family Li up. Li Shimin had once suspected that Wu Zetian might be the predicted empress, So he meant to kill her so as to extinguish any potential danger. But he ultimately gave up and told her to be a nun in Ganye Temple together with others of his wifes. After all, it is radiculous to believe in that time that a woman could became a ruler.

Nevertheless, Li Shimin had never taken into account that his son, the successive emperor Li Zhi had been in love with Wu for a long time. After about ten years of the previous emperor's death, Li Zhi's Queen Wang met Wu back to the Imperial Palace to fight against another Queen Shu, who had seized almost all the love of their husband and emperor. Wu defeated Shu first and consequently the Queen Wang and became the new Queen of Li Zhi. As Li Zhi always had headaches since he was very young, he sometimes could not deal with so many official documents from every corner of his giant imperial country. Thus, the clever and wise Queen Wu would occassioally read and reply to those ducuments instead of him. As the time flied fast, Wu treated more and more ducuments, while the emperor got more and more leisure and lost his power day after day. When he was seriously ill to dye, the court was full of officers from the Wu's family.

After Zhi's death, the third son of Wu and Zhi, Xian, declared to be emperor. But around three months later, because of a tiny mistake in his decision, he was exiled to a remote place called Fangling. Then he was extremely afraid that his mother might kill him as his two elder brothers and committed many suicide in vain as his wife Queen Wei rescued him for many times and encouraged him to live on. Xian's only younger brother, Dan, took the throne for even shorter times than his brother. Under the pressure from the officers in the court from the Wu's family and the threat that he might be killed at any time or place, he gave up the throne and passed it to his mother. Then Wu Zetian became the first empress and also the mere empress evidenced by history.

Wu devoted herself to the power and management of the contry and constitute a lot. The people never hated her as they them led happy and rich lives. However, some of the former nobles of the Li's family would never forgive her, even her own daughter Princess Taiping. She planned carefully and prepared cautiously to overwhelm her mother and the Wu's family. The once emperor Xian took back his throne. Wu Zetian survived her last time of her life in the Palace Shangyang, without anyone at her side.
