==Synopsis==
This drama portrays the life of the 19th king of Goguryeo. Hwanwoong was sent from the heavens to make the world a better place. He fell in love with Seoh and gave her the joojak necklace. But Kajin was jealous because Seoh had given birth to Hwanwoong's son. She took the baby and threw him off a cliff. Seoh thought that her son had died and she became overcome with grief. She turned into the black joojak and destroyed the world. Hwanwoong was the only one who could stop her. Afterwards, Hwanwoong went back to the Heavens and said that 2000 years later the true Joo Shin king will come to Earth and with the help of the four gods he will rebuilt Joo Shin.

==Synopsis==
Sad Sonata is a love story about two men and one woman. This is the new drama from the makers of [[Dae Jang Geum]].

Producer [[Lee Byung Hoon|Lee Byung-Hun]] and writer [[Kim Young Hyun|Kim Yeong-hyeon]] from "Jewel in the Palace ([[Dae Jang Geum]])", last year's major hit drama here and in China, have again teamed up for a new historical drama.

The SBS drama "Sodongyo", translated as "Sodong's Song", has much in common with "Jewel in the Palace". Both deal with similar themes: a success story of a lower class person rising to the top, a love that transcends social position, a secret of birth and a rivalry between main characters.

However, whereas "Jewel" is set in the Choson Kingdom (1392-1910), "Sodongyo" takes place in the Paekche Kingdom (18 B.C. - A.D 660), a first for a TV drama. Aside from the romance between a princess and a commoner, an interesting part of the drama is that it focuses on a fierce technology war almost 1,500 years ago.

The protagonist is Sodong, a commoner who strives to become a top technician. Sodong later became King Mu, the 30th king of Paekche as he was finally recognized as of royal birth.

The main background of the drama is Taehaksa, Paekche's prestigious institute of science technology. As it possessed and developed the most up-to-date technology at that time, the institute was always in danger of industrial espionage from other countries like the Koguryo Kingdom and the Silla Kingdom.

"The 21st century is an era of information technology. The viewers will be able to see not only the splendidly rich culture of the Paekche Kingdom but also their ancestors' passion for information technology, which is in line with today's trend", said the drama's writer Kim.

The drama also reveals the role of monks as industrial spies at that time, an aspect of monks in the past that is rarely focused 0n.

"Monks were the advance guards of intelligence war at that time. The leaders of the three countries made the best use of the monks' mobility as they were allowed to move freely from country to country on sacred missions", said Kim.

The drama also features a character who was originally from the Silla Kingdom (57 B.C. - A.D 935) but went over to Paekche as a child and smuggled himself into Taehaksa, concentrating on secretly getting out high-quality information over a long time.

Various agricultural technologies considered the most up-to-date at that time also appear in the drama.

In some episodes, to solve the problems of excessive dryness of the land, they released earthworms, and used ondol (hot floor) for the first time to decrease the humidity of homes.

"Sodongyo" is said to be one of Korea's oldest folk songs. According to Samgukyusa (The Memorabilia of the Three Kingdoms) from the Silla Kingdom, the song was written by Sodong, a commoner from the Paekche Kingdom. Hearing that Princess Sonhwa, a daughter of King Chinpyong of the Silla Kingdom was beautiful, he writes a song saying that the princess visits Sodong's room every night and spreads the song around. When her father hears the song, he condemns the princess to exile. Sodong picks her up and takes her to Paekche, and they become the royal couple of the country.

==Synopsis==
More than a thousand years ago from the present time, [[Sung Yu Ri]] is the Baek Jae Empire's princess Puyeoju. Unlike other princesses, she is active and skilled in the arts and in sports. When the Baek Jae Empire crumbles due to a spy ([[Kim Sa Rang]]), she runs away with her bodyguard General Guishil Ari ([[So Ji Sub]]), and falls in love with him in the meanwhile. In a desperate attempt to win her, he kills Ari, but the princess runs away and jumps off a cliff to kill herself. While falling, she travels more than one thousand years into the future, which is our present time of 2003. Only she remains to be who she was, and she encounters Ari to be an aimless fashion designer Kang In-chul with a warm heart and bad temper. Although he is annoyed at her ignorance of the present world, he comes to fall in love with the princess again. ==Synopsis==
Yoo Min's father got into a car accident and had amnesia so he forgot to pick her up from the store where they all work at. Yoo Min's grandfather, who is the CEO of a large company, left inheritance for Yoo Min and her mother without any explanations for her father's accident. Yoo Min's mother took the news hard fell into sickness. Another lady that Yoo Min lived with was being chased by debt collectors and out of frustration took the inheritance and caused Yoo Min's mother to have a heart attack and die. That lady and the mother of Su-ji who is the same age as Yoo Min decided to leave Yoo Min somewhere and split the inheritance. Yoo Min, who was only 4 at the time, was left at a train station and became an orphan.

15 years later, Yoo Min meets Seung-Jae, the son of a small corporation and they bicker and fight. They later find out that Seung-Jae is the younger brother of Min-Jae, the love of Yoo Min's life. To fight off Min-jae's mother demand to get married to someone he does not love, he gets in an engagement contract with Yoo Min and they all end up living at Min-Jae's house. Yoo Min and Seung-Jae ends up going to the same high school and develop feelings. At this time, Yoo Min's father is looking for her and he found the mother of Su-ji. When Su-ji found out that Yoo Min was the girl that her mother abandoned 15 years ago, she is willing to do anything to make herself his daughter and keep Yoo Min far away from Seung-Jae and Min-Jae, whose mother is the other lady in crime.

But as each day goes on, Xiao Tong starts feeling for the first time that her admiration toward the teacher is already not as pure as that out of respectfulness. And that there is a development of feelings that should only be between man and woman. This makes He Fan unsure of what to do. But he also can't bear to leave her aside and not care about her.

In the class, Xiao Tong has a good friend, Liang Zi and a good buddy, Zi Ji. There is nothing that the three of them won't talk about and Zi Ji has always had a secret crush on Xiao Tong. But he has never dared to express his feelings to her. Being the shy person that he is, he would rather secretly write love letters to her. One letter a day, just like his love-sickness, doesn't stop and doesn't change. In order to not let fellow students know, Zi Ji would go as far as to be the first one to arrive in school so that he could personally place the love letters inside Xiao Tong's desk.

Liang Zi is Zi Ji and Xiao Tong's good friend. And is also a girl who's fashionable and loves to have fun. Usually, she is very fond of dragging Xiao Tong around to take sticker pictures. She will not miss out on any style of stickers. Each time, as long as Xiao Tong, has taken a new style of stickers, Zi Ji would take one from her to remember by. He nearly has stuck a full notebook full of pictures. Liang Zi, who doesn't know that Zi Ji has a secret crush on Xiao Tong, misunderstands and thinks that the one who Zi Ji has a crush on is herself.

He Fan's dream is to open up a bar. In order to have some interaction with the students, He Fan lets Xiao Tong, Liang Zi, Zi Ji, to go to the bar to help set up things. The only other person that would go to the bar to help out is Song Xin Chen. Song Xin Chen and He Fan have been acquainted with each for many years. This point makes Xiao Tong very unhappy in her heart.

As a result, He Fan, Xin Chen and Xiao Tong gets in a triangular relationship that couldn't be solved. And Zi Ji guards by Xiao Tong's side with no complaints and no regrets. This also makes Liang Zi's heart feel very painful. One is a good friend, the other is the person that her heart has a crush on. The three of them is also thrown into a love triangle. Yeah...right.

When you visit a little town called Guan Mei, you may meet Ye Tian-Yu ([[Chen Qiao En]]). At first glance, she may seem like a shameless, money-grubbing, deceiving little schemer. And when you meet her family at their little grocery store called "Qian Lai Ye" (Money c'mon in), you will find the shameless, money-grubbing, deceiving little schemer trait runs in the family. But, please don't prejudge them. They are actually very kind-hearted townsfolk, as Shan Jun-Hao ([[Ming Dao]]) finds out when he gets involved in a mysterious car accident and loses his memory.

Okay, fine. The accident is not so accidental.

Shan Jun-Hao is a general manger of Senwell Hotel, in which his family owns 60% of the shares. His cold-hearted, cut-throat management style pisses quite a lot of people inside and outside of the hotel. So on the day of his engagement to his childhood friend, Fan Yun-Xi ([[Zhao Hong Qiao]]), he gets kidnapped. Not someone who takes it lying down, he fights for the control of the kidnapping car. The car crashes into a side railing and falls down a cliff. Luckily, he survives the crash and manages to climb back up onto the highway. Unfortunely, he is immediately hit by an oncoming car and knocked unconscious. And, who hit him? A little hint... her family owns a grocery store.

Shan Jun-Hao wakes up with no memory of who he is. Ye Tian-Yu and her family don't know who he is, either. Only Ye Tian-Yu's stepfather knows, but he is not telling. Not knowing where to return him to, Ye Tian-Yu recruits him to work for her family's grocery store and nicknames him "Dang Oh." And, they end up falling for each other.

Couldn't it have just ended like that?

Oh course not. Shan Jun-Hao has a fiancé who misses him terribly. And her grief is breaking Xu Zhi-Qian's ([[Sam Wang]]) heart. Xu Zhi-Qian knows and loves Fan Yun-Xi more than anyone. He tries to be her support, her comfort, her Shan Jun-Hao replacement. Yet, he knows he can't never replace Shan Jun-Hao. So he goes out searching for his love rival and discovers "Dang Oh" in Guan Mei. He tries to bring Dang Oh back to Fan Yun-Xi, but Dang Oh refuses to go because he doesn't believe he is Shan Jun-Hao. However, yet another car accident happens to Dang Oh and causes him to forget everything that happened after the previous car accident and remembers everything before it. So in other words, bye bye Dang Oh and hello Shan Jun-Hao.

Ye Tian-Yu still loves Dang Oh. Xu Zhi-Qian still loves Fan Yun-Xi. So, the two of them decide to fight for their love one last time. They make an agreement that if they couldn't get their love back, then they would go out with each other. Things happen, and eventually Shan Jun-Hao falls back in love with Ye Tian-Yu. But, Xu Zhi-Qian is already on the move to get Ye Tian-Yu to forget 'Dang-Oh' and go out with him.

So who will end up with who? Will Shan Jun-Hao be able to win back Ye Tian-Yu? Or, will he resume his original plan and marry Fan Yun-Xi?

==Synopsis==
Since her birth, Ah Xun ([[Chen Yi Rong]]), as well as her sister Yicheng, has been suffering from a heart disease, which makes her unable to run or do a lot of activities that other kids do. Because of this she is picked on by all her schoolmates. Her only friend is a boy named Qing Chuan. Always together, Ah Xun is saddened when Qing Chuan tells her that he and his family are moving to America. Unwilling to never see each other again, Qing Chuan gives her a glass bottle filled with a piece of lavender as a token that he will never forget her, and promises her that he will meet back up with her 10 years later on Ah Xun's 20th birthday.

Ten years pass and Ah Xun still has not forgotten her first love Qing Chuan, even though her boss's son Xiao Tong is in love with her, waits for the day when she can see him again. Qing Chuan returns to Taiwan, but this time known as the famous singer named Leo. Leo has not forgotten about her either, and after a few misunderstandings, the two of them meet back up and start a relationship. But with the presence of Xiao Tong, Leo's girlfriend Maggie, and Ah Xun's illness, they wonder if they will be able to stay together.

In this drama based on basketball (and somewhat on the animé Slam Dunk), a Taiwanese national team basketballer, [[Yan Xing Shu]] plays the lead Duan Chen Feng, whose world consists of his 2 greatest loves: basketball and his girlfriend, Xiao Xi ([[Angela Zhang]]).
