==Synopsis==
Originally a novel by Yamasaki Toyoko, and later a 1974 movie. Teppei Manpyou is an executive managing director of a steel firm. The book depicts the conflicts within the Manpyou family, which is famous in Kansai's financial circles, amidst the tumultuous reorganisation of the financial industry of 1970s. Unlike the book, the eldest son, Teppei, and not the father, Daisuke, will be the central character of the story.

==Synopsis==
''I swear to fulfill, to the best of my ability and judgment, this covenant:<br>''
''Make the care of my patient my first concern; listen to patients and respect their views; recognize the limits of my professional competence; be honest and trustworthy; make sure that my personal beliefs do not prejudice my patients' care; avoid abusing my position as a doctor; and work with colleague in the ways that best serve patients' interest.''
<br><br>
One morning, a very important person checked into the hospital. That person was President Liu's only daughter, Liu Xin Ping. She had developed acute leukemia. And for her ongoing chemotherapy, a Central IV line was to be implanted in the right atrium of her heart. Dr Su Yi-Hua was asked to perform this operation as he was a leading expert in the Central IV implantation.
<br><br>
However, a simple operation ignited a heated power struggle within the hospital. Liu Xin Ping's health became a triump card in which Dr. Tang Guo-Tai, head of sugery, and Dr. Xu Da-Ming, head of internal medicine, play to win the Hospital Director position. When Dr. Tang found out that his arch rival Dr. Xu appointed Dr. Su to perform the surgery, he was concerned that Dr. Xu's cancer treatment for the President's daughter would grab the spotlight and impact his chance to be the next hospital director. So on the eve of the surgery, he utilized his power as the head of surgery and replaced Dr. Su with Dr. Qiu Qing-Cheng, who was one of his people and far less experienced in the type of operation.
<br><br>
What should have been a holy and tranquil place of healing had become a battle ground where ambition reel it's ugly head.
==Review==
Slow start, story picks up in the middle. Good twist, not for everyone. A young man who has lost everything vowed to take a revenge against a rich man who took away the love of his life and his dreams. Lots of mystery, that will unravel in every episode, pretty good but again not for everyone. Slow & dark drama, B+ . Thumbs up.
==Synopsis==
This drama is based on a story that ran for 14 years in the Kodansha published weekly manga Morning.

Yoshinori Yanagisawa is an economics professor at International Cultural University. He keeps to the right of the sidewalk when he walks, and doesn't cross the street any place other than a crosswalk. He loves low-cost, great tasting dried fish, and will walk to the end of the earth to get one. No matter what has happened to him during his day, he always goes to bed at 9 p.m.

Today, Yoshinori's day began with an argument with his daughter Setsuko about whether to cross the street at a crosswalk or not. Mrs. Yanagisawa just looked on while both Yoshinori and Setsuko refused to budge from their positions long enough to listen to the other. Setsuko couldn't take anymore, so she got up and left right in the middle of the argument. Even after his heated debate with his daughter, Yoshinori still walked on the right side of the sidewalk, and used the crosswalk on the way to campus.

Always inquisitive, Yoshinori always is ready to do research. Books are his best friends, and today, the book that he has chosen to keep him company is about traffic laws. His argument with Setsuko caused him to try to find out anything and everything there is to know about traffic laws. With book in hand, Yoshinori sets out into the streets. The book states "objects shall not interfere with the flow of traffic." But Yoshinori seems to interpret this a little different than most...As he walks, he finds a high school-aged girl sitting in the street, a bicycle parked in the middle of the sidewalk, and a sign sitting in front of a store that blocks the place where people normally walk. To Yoshinori, traffic laws are being broken everywhere. Unable to overlook this, he gets the young girl's attention and lets her know that she shouldn't sit in the road. Next, he tries to move the sign, but gets the cops called on him by the owner of the store for obstruction of business. Not soon after, people start gathering around to see what is the matter. Yoshinori doesn't let this get to him at all, as he starts asking their opinions about what is right, and what is wrong. At first they just look at him in disbelief, but after a while, they start getting his point and begin to participate in the discussion. In the end, what kind of effect will this have on Yoshinori's family? Stay tuned to see!
==Synopsis==

Hey, hands off my... well, he's not my husband, but he's mine!

Back by popular demand, the My Blue Sky saga continues! Whatever happened to the spunky Nazuna, her hale baby, Taiyo, and Kento, the man who left them for a life of professional boxing? When we left off with Nazuna two years ago, she had decided to keep her baby and stay in Tokyo after being abandoned at the alter. Life as a single mom wasn't easy, but she and her son managed to make a cozy life for themselves.
This time around, Kento and Nazuna have now reconciled, and although not married, they live in separate apartments across the way, each pursing their dreams. Taiyo, about to start fourth grade, enjoys the support of both his parents, with an out-of-the-ordinary family situation working surprisingly well.
Reality crashes in when Kento falls in love with another woman. Reserved and shy, Koyuki is the polar opposite of the energetic, straight-talking Nazuna. For better or worse, Nazuna and Taiyo are forced to take a second look at their unique family structure.
The gloves come out when Nazuna decides to face her opponent head on and fight for the family she had so carefully constructed. Watch out, all bets are off!
==Synopsis==
Humanity has always been obsessed with the idea of somehow regaining our youth and going back to our childhood. But what would happen if that dream became a reality? Would that really bring happiness… or tragedy?
Yuko has a promising career in journalism ahead of her, and is happily married to Satoru, a younger man. But an unfortunate event turns their world upside down, and leads Yuko into a desperate attempt to regain her youth. She drinks a potion that begins a "de-aging" process, only to find out that once started the process cannot be stopped! Yuko and Satoru are forced to reexamine her life and their marriage, and their love for each other. And Yuko must somehow find a way to return to halt the process, or dire consequences await.

This touching story not only explores the question of lost youth but also takes a hard look at what it really means to love someone.
==Review==
This drama is trully original, the story line is good too and the theme song by GABALL + soundtrack by I WiSH are touching! A generation of actresses from Takaoka Saki to Yuu Aoi has performed well. The ending is a bit sad because she eventually disappeared but it is full of emotions and I can truly feel it. All the best to Nakamura Shunsuke, Yuu Aoi and a host of other actors. Well done!
==Synopsis==
In Tengachaya Osaka, Maki (Norika Fujiwara) stands out as both beautiful and glamorous. Everyone in the neighborhood, including the local boys, wondered who would win her heart. Of course, Kentaro (Tomomitsu Yamaguchi) was one of them. One day, when Maki was running late for work, Kentaro gave her a lift on his motorbike. During that ride, Kentaro proposed and to the amazement of those around them they were married soon after.

With the marriage, they also purchased a truck and started a transport business.
Unfortunately this coincided with the oil shock. There was no business on the opening day, but Maki and Kentaro didn't give up. And then one day, thanks to a particular event, Maki hit on the idea of a remover company...
==Synopsis==
The main character, Matsumoto Azusa (Natsukawa Yui) is a housewife who just moved to a new neighborhood with her husband (Yuusuke Santamaria) and young daughter. They have moved into a very old house, which is a very unusual thing to do in Japan. The house was left to them by Azusa's father in law. Immediately, they begin to get the feeling that their neighborhood is weird. The neighborhood is governed by a strict neighborhood watch. Azusa is shunned early on for not adhering to the proper codes for taking out garbage. There is also a strange man who lives next door who always wears a mask over his entire face, and an old homeless woman who eerily warns Azusa that her house is cursed.

Things get much more creepy yet. Azusa is haunted by visions of a previous lover who drowned in the ocean. She seems very susceptible to paranoia, and begins to see ghosts when alone in the house. Her husband sends her to see a psychologist in order to stop this problem, but her visions persist and she continues to have strange encounters in her house. Because the viewer sees these events through Azusa's eyes, we are unable to distinguish what is real and what only exists in Azusa's mind.

Strangest of all, Azusa's husband has a co-worker who lives next door, and he looks exactly like Azusa's dead lover! What is the explanation for all of these strange events? It was an enjoyable first episode, and I'm anxious to see the rest of the series.

==Synopsis==
Legend has it that if a bride wears a dress made by Madam Mari on her wedding day, she will find true happiness.
Young advertising executive Reiko is engaged to marry one of her coworkers, and seeks out the legendary dressmaker to commission her dress. But her meeting with Madam Mari doesn't turn out to as she expected, and her world is turned upside down. Before long she finds herself working as Mari's assistant.

Each episode features a new client with some problem in her love life coming to Madam Mari's seeking happiness. The dressmaker makes each of them a dress unlike any other in the world, and when they wear it they realize true love.　　Set in the contrast between the practical and sometimes cynical Mari and the hopeful Reiko who believes in love and yearns for wedded bliss, this story is not just for women seeking happiness, but for everyone who is facing some kind of trouble in life. The wedding dresses made by the legendary dressmaker are also showcased -- some surprisingly simple, some elegant, and some flamboyance. ''-- YTVjapan''
It is a tourist area famous for its monkeys, and is most easily reached by cable car. They live with their parents who run a restaurant.

Hana makes several attempts to make a life for herself in Tokyo, but always fails and ends up going back up the mountain to live with her parents. This time, she has decided that she wants to carry on the family business, and begins working as a waitress at her parents' restaurant, and doing a very poor job of it.

Akari is disgusted by her sister's behavior, and is determined not to end up the way she has. She meets a boy named "Tetsurou" on the Internet and goes down to Tokyo in order to meet him in person. It turns out that this "Tetsurou" she's been talking with anonymously on the Internet is the son of a rich family played by Yoshizawa Yuu. They begin dating, and Akari even ends up meeting his parents, but Akari is too afraid to tell Tetsurou that she lives on top of Mount Takao. It is a very inconvenient place, and she is embarrassed by her parents' shabby lifestyle.

Meanwhile, back on top of the mountain, Hana chances to meet a Caucasian man to whom she accidentally inflicts physical harm. (Watch the clip for more on this.) She buys him a drink to apologize, but she is seen by an acquaintance and rumors that she is dating a foreigner begin to spread. Her father is especially upset by this rumor. Hana has absolutely no interest in dating this man, but he seems to have taken an interest in Hana! He begins making frequent trips up the mountain to see her, much to the dismay of Hana. It looks as if the writers of this drama actually have something in store for these two. We'll have to wait and see what happens. I applaud the casting department for actually managing to find a good-looking Caucasian to play the part. He doesn't seem to have much acting ability though.

There was one more surprise revealed in the first episode, but I guess it's kind of a spoiler, so I won't say anything more about it. It's not the flashiest looking drama ever, but the first episode was entertaining and I'll be tuning in next week.
