==Synopsis==
On Hatoma, a small island in Okinawa state part of Japan's southern sea frontier, the social environment is suffering. With the last student of the elementary school leaving the place, the closing of the school is a virtual given. The date standard that was discussed in the DramaWiki suggest that format should be YYYY-MM-DD. I hope this helps since I pretty much had the same problem, but at least it was corrected by others (although I had it right the first time).

Hi, about the matter of 仲西匡 being Nakanishi Tadashi or Nakanishi Kyo, I followed the latter based on [[Wikipedia:ja:仲西匡|the Wikipedia entry]] and the majority of the Google returns "なかにしきょう". As I find the Japanese wikipedia generally trustworthy for names, I wonder if you have even better confirmation of Tadashi as, well, the right name. :匡 in nanori is ただし or "tadashi", and in onyomi as キョウ or "kyo". Nanori is supposedly used for Japanese names, while onyomi is used if the Chinese pronounciation is the choice. When it comes down to it, they're both technically right, which is why in the [[DramaWiki:Romanization of Japanese|Japanese romanization guide]] the first criteria is how the artist wants his/her name written and pronounced. ==Synopsis==
A man is cooking a steak in an apartment kitchen. Although his skills are a bit rusty, his usage of spices and way of pouring brandy to light a fire is quite a sight. He's Shinsuke Kuwano, an architect. He starts taking bites of the steak when his cell phone rings. It's Eiji Murakami, Shinsuke's assistant at the office. He has called to remind Shinsuke of a party that he was supposed to attend.

"Mr. Kuwano, you were the one invited. Why aren't you here?"
"Eiji, did you know that the ancient Romans partied by lying on the floor and feasting with their hands?"
"You have to come. There's somebody that wants to build a house soon."

Later on at the party, Shinsuke finds Eiji hitting on a girl. "Did you know that five-story pagodas are actually one-story high?" This is a piece of trivia that Shinsuke had told him. Shinsuke stands out at the party with his handsome looks. When he learns that a girl at the party is interested in him, for some reason, he starts talking endlessly about architecture, eventually boring the girl. Eiji says, "Mr. Kuwano, if you don't do something about your personality, you'll never be able to get married." "I like being alone!" replies Shinsuke.

In the meantime, at a Japanese restaurant, Natsumi Hayasaka is reluctantly having dinner with an arranged date. When Natsumi feels that the topic of conversation is heading towards marriage, she finally speaks up.

At a later date, Maya Sawasaki, who works in the housing industry is giving a tour of a house Shinsuke designed. Maya is confident of landing a deal with a customer, but Shinsuke just can't keep his mouth shut, ruining the deal. Although Maya and Eiji are fed up with Shinsuke's personality, they still respect his way of designing homes, focusing on the kitchen — the place in the house where family warmth is built upon.

==Synopsis==
A man is cooking a steak in an apartment kitchen. Although his skills are a bit rusty, his usage of spices and way of pouring brandy to light a fire is quite a sight. He's Shinsuke Kuwano, an architect. He starts taking bites of the steak when his cell phone rings. It's Eiji Murakami, Shinsuke's assistant at the office. He has called to remind Shinsuke of a party that he was supposed to attend.

"Mr. Kuwano, you were the one invited. Why aren't you here?"
"Eiji, did you know that the ancient Romans partied by lying on the floor and feasting with their hands?"
"You have to come. There's somebody that wants to build a house soon."

Later on at the party, Shinsuke finds Eiji hitting on a girl. "Did you know that five-story pagodas are actually one-story high?" This is a piece of trivia that Shinsuke had told him. Shinsuke stands out at the party with his handsome looks. When he learns that a girl at the party is interested in him, for some reason, he starts talking endlessly about architecture, eventually boring the girl. Eiji says, "Mr. Kuwano, if you don't do something about your personality, you'll never be able to get married." "I like being alone!" replies Shinsuke.

In the meantime, at a Japanese restaurant, Natsumi Hayasaka is reluctantly having dinner with an arranged date. When Natsumi feels that the topic of conversation is heading towards marriage, she finally speaks up.

At a later date, Maya Sawasaki, who works in the housing industry is giving a tour of a house Shinsuke designed. Maya is confident of landing a deal with a customer, but Shinsuke just can't keep his mouth shut, ruining the deal. Although Maya and Eiji are fed up with Shinsuke's personality, they still respect his way of designing homes, focusing on the kitchen — the place in the house where family warmth is built upon.

Late for a meeting, Kotoko (Sato) was running along the corridor in school and bumped into Naoki (Kashiwabara), their lips meeting. ==Synopsis==
Toyokawa Etsushi and Ito Hideaki appear together for the first time in what is a never-before-seen lawyer-oriented drama. The original work by Iura Hideo, "Bengoshi no Kuzu," is currently being published by Big Comic Original.
Our main character, Kuzu Motohito--aka "scum lawyer"--will do just about anything if it means he can win in court. Lawyers aren't on the side of justice! The law isn't meant to punish people, it's meant to save them! At least, that's this guy's secret motto. High school drop-out, lover of money and women, rude demeanor, and a vulgar mouth. This ridiculous excuse for a lawyer (played by Toyokawa Etsushi) has his first challenge in this comedy as the character Kuzu Motohito. And then there's Takeda Masami (played by Ito Hideaki) who works with Kuzu; Takeda Masami is a wet behind the ears lawyer who is touched by the very idea of justice. Takashima Reiko plays the capable female lawyer, Kato Tetsuko.

==Synopsis==
Late for a meeting, Kotoko (Sato) was running along the corridor in school and bumped into Naoki (Kashiwabara), their lips meeting. Naoki showed his disgust, but Kotoko started to idolise him, who was good at everything from studies to sports. When Kotoko's house was burnt, her father's good friend Machiko invited them to move in with her family. It was then that Kotoko realised Naoki was the elder son of Machiko, who took up the role of a fairy-godmother to bring the two together...despite the fact that Naoki was disgusted. Not discouraged, the clumsy and not-so-bright Kotoko started to do everything that would change her impression on him. Gradually, the icy-cold Naoki who disliked girls started to feel for Kotoko...

Kohei Kuryu, played by [[Kimura Takuya]], is a former juvenile delinquent that drops out of junior high and goes on to earn a high school equivalency diploma. After passing the law board exams, Kuryu becomes a prosecutor. Not your typical prosecutor, which is quickly seen through the clothes that he wears, Kuryu possesses quick instincts and a kind of cleverness that only someone raised on the streets could have.

[[Matsu Takako]] plays the role of public prosecutor Maiko Amamiya. The shrewd Amamiya, who has her eyes set on passing the exam to become a deputy prosecutor, tries her best to be noticed by her boss. Kuryu, on the other hand, after earning a reputation for doing top-notch work is transferred to Amamiya's division, and finally opens his eyes to the possibility of promotion. Unfortunately, his unprecedented work behavior abruptly brings things to a halt.

Although earning a reputation as a bad apple, the influence from Kuryu's strong pursuit of justice slowly begins to change things around him. This drama is filled with it all; love, laughs and lots of emotion. -Fuji TV

A quirky and often outrageous comedy. Besides the various criminal cases Kuryu solves without fear or fervor, this drama is also memorable for Kuryu's addiction to the cheesy mail-order program "Luigi's Online Shop" and its products, such as different models of exercise equipment. After work, the prosecutors frequent a bar called "St. George's Tavern"; its laconic owner is seemingly able to produce any type of food or drink ordered, with a cheery "Aru yo!" Five years after leaving Josai bureau, Kuryu Kohei ([[Kimura Takuya|Kimura]]), who has been working in Sapporo, Hokkaido, is transferred to Nijigaura, Yamaguchi (a fictious town, its real name is ''Nijigahama''), a quiet place on the seaside where he arrives precisely when the first murder in eleven years has been committed. Soon, Takita Akihiko ([[Nakai Kiichi|Nakai]]), the most beloved and influent person of the town, is suspected and Kuryu has to deal with this problem, as the other members are too frightened to take any action.

A SP in which the atmosphere of the renzoku series is kept, even though the cast has been almost entirely replaced. The fact that the story is located in the countryside gives the little bit of originality this episode needed. And it is with great pleasure that we meet again several characters of the renzoku series who make an apparition as guests.

==Synopsis==
Toyokawa Etsushi and Ito Hideaki appear together for the first time in what is a never-before-seen lawyer-oriented drama. The original work by Iura Hideo, "Bengoshi no Kuzu," is currently being published by Big Comic Original.
Our main character, Kuzu Motohito--aka "scum lawyer"--will do just about anything if it means he can win in court. Lawyers aren't on the side of justice! The law isn't meant to punish people, it's meant to save them! At least, that's this guy's secret motto. High school drop-out, lover of money and women, rude demeanor, and a vulgar mouth. This ridiculous excuse for a lawyer (played by Toyokawa Etsushi) has his first challenge in this comedy as the character Kuzu Motohito. And then there's Takeda Masami (played by Ito Hideaki) who works with Kuzu; Takeda Masami is a wet behind the ears lawyer who is touched by the very idea of justice. Takashima Reiko plays the capable female lawyer, Kato Tetsuko.

==Review==
This drama continues off from where the special that aired early this year, 2005, ended. It's about a yakuza member, Toraji ([[Nagase Tomoya]]) who has to collect payments from a man whose son used the money to open an eclectic clothing store. However, Toraji discovers rakugo (traditional Japanese comical monologues) through the man who later teaches him the art. The situations between the characters were hilarious and the comedy was very refreshing. I really enjoyed how the director was able to create a seamless transitioning between the rakugo story-telling - the re-enactment of thestory itself - and then the current drama happenings. It was very innovative and impressive to say the least. Each episode focuses on a different rakugo story and it was surprising that because of this factor, the series still didn't seem episodic, but still proceeded at a nice pace.

The main characters, Toraji played by [[Nagase Tomoya]] and Ryu played by [[Okada Junichi]] are both memorable and funny. They each had a specific character type and firmly stuck to it throughout the drama. The other actors also did a wonderful job. The dialogue in this drama was refreshing and witty. Overall, a great drama!

==Synopsis==
They are young, beautiful and active. Are they on their life's peak, this age when a woman shines the most ?

Takase Yuki ([[Shinohara Ryoko]]), 31, works as editor in a small company that publish free papers. She is in charge of the opening article of a new free paper since she's the one who has given the main idea. With her assistant, Fujishima Rei ([[Kuriyama Chiaki]]), part-time clerk, they go around Shiodome (it's in Tokyo) to find and interview women to hear their story : how beautiful and active women can find a balance between work and love.

This drama is centered around the story of two of them, who are lead to meet Yuki and Rei more than once. Komori Hazuki ([[Nakagoshi Noriko]]) is the manager of a café she runs since it has opened. She is the first female manager of this brand. She's dating a man older than her who's highly placed in an advertisement company.
Ishikawa Eriko ([[Igawa Haruka]]) works in the same advertisment company and is in charge of an event for the launch of a new fashion brand. She was in the same high school as Yuki. She always says that she's too busy with her work to date a man.

Spring 2005, Okinawa.
It's the wedding of Sawamura Seiji's second daughter, Seiko ([[Fujisawa Ema]]). Miwa ([[Harada Mieko]]), her mother, is watching over her beloved daughter with a smiling face. The eldest daughter, Asuka ([[Ito Ayumi]]), who slipped out of the party to watch the sea alone, is holding preciously a book... This is the diary of a deceased father addressed to his daughters.

1974, Okinawa.
Graduated from university, Seiji ([[Inagaki Goro]]) is working at Okinawa's central hospital as trainee. While learning by himself American-style medecine, he is working hard to become doctor. Seiji is going out with Miwa ([[Konno Mahiru]]), pharmacist and Okinawa-ian beauty. He then marries her. He is living a happy life in Okinawa but his dream is to change Japan's medical system. He then decides to move to Nagano where he hopes one day to establish a new hospital. Miwa is now pregnant and Seiji is still hopefully following his dreams.
The birth of Asuka, their first daughter, fulfills Seiji who shows everyday his happiness. However, Seiji is suddenly told that a malignant tumour is visible on his right knee and has to be amputated soon. "I won't be able to work as doctor. I won't be able to protect Miwa and Asuka as father." is worrying Seiji. In order to live, he has to resign himself on the amputation, but...

This special drama, aired on October 10, 2005 on Fuji TV, is a TV adaptation of the true story of Imura Kazukiyo. It brings together [[Inagaki Goro]] and [[Konno Mahiru]] in a drama telling the story a deceased father wrote in a book he offered to his daughters, about the last 5 years of his life before he died of a lung cancer in 1979.

The original book, ''Asuka e, soshite mada minu ko e'', has been published by Shodensha on May 20, 1980, and reedited on July 25, 2005.

==Synopsis==
Sakuragi Kenji is a destitute lawyer and one-time member of a motorcyle gang trying to guide failing high school students with an average score of 36 into Japan's most prestigious educational institution, Tokyo University (Toudai).

For no other reason than Sakuragi's personal ambition, he has advertised his intention to produce 100 successful Toudai applicants from the students of a nearly bankrupt failure of a school.
