==Synopsis==
After a biological terrorist attack kills off the population of a Russian town; Japan's Public Safety Special Third unit, code name THIRD-i, believes that the terrorist organization responsible plans to unleash the same virus known as Bloody X into Tokyo. Subsequently, THIRD-i recruits the help of genius hacker Takagi Fujimaru to find out what happened in the Russia. However, as Fujimaru becomes involved, he soon finds out that he is in over his head and that the terrorist groups influence reaches not only his school but even the police. Fujimaru must now rely on his skill as a hacker to unravel the organizations sinister plot and find out the truth behind "Bloody Monday."

==Synopsis==
Talented chefs Bong Joo and Sung Chan were raised like brothers after Sung Chan was orphaned and taken in by Bong Joo's family. Bong Joo's family owns a famous traditional Korean restaurant and claims descent from the last royal chef of the Joseon Dynasty. Bong Joo assumes that as the eldest, he will be the one to take over his family's restaurant and marry Joo Hee when his father makes a surprising announcement about a special cooking contest! ==Synopsis==

==Synopsis==
Tokugawa Yoshimune becomes the 8th Shogun of the Tokugawa Shogunate. From rural Kishu Province, he did not expect to become the Shogun although he is from one of the 3 main Tokugawa families and his life becomes very formal with strict rules and traditions. He continues to have bad people creating havoc within his capital city of Edo (now known as Tokyo). With the help of his close associates, Lord Tokugawa secretly leaves his castle to roam throughout his city, disguised as Tokuda Shinnosuke, the 3rd son of a poor Hatamoto family (retainers to the Shogun) and an average Joe living in Edo.

By mixing in with the population, Shin-san (as everyone in the city calls him) is able to research issues first-hand and to see if any reforms are needed. His helpers include ''oniwaban'' (ninjas who are guards in the inner castle), the captain of the Megumi fire company and Ooka Tadasuke, the Magistrate of South Edo. Yoshimune uses the headquarters of the Megumi fire company as his base while he's away from Edo Castle. The captain of the company, and the oniwaban know his identity, but everyone else in the city remains unaware that he is the Shogun.

Once Yoshimune solves the crimes, he confronts the villains. Just about every time, the bad people whip our their samurai swords in an attempt to kill Yoshimune, although most of the time they still don't know who he REALLY is or think that he is an imposter. Most of the time, Yoshimume flips his samurai sword so that the dull side is out. This way, he can still take his opponents down without making sashimi out of them. Very rarely will he actually hit people with the sharp part of the blade... They have to be some really mean guys for Yoshimune to go that far!
<p>The show was frequently topical, and touched on many themes of present-day life. The most common subject was political corruption. Drugs, unequal power relationships, poverty, urbanization, the generation gap, inflation, and the tension between Japanese and foreign knowledge were recurring themes.</p>

When I first watched Aberenbo Shogun, two other shows came to mind. The first one is the tokusatsu Japanese TV series ''Kamen Rider V3'' (TOEI, 1973). Both Abarenbo Shogun and V3 are quite similar in the way the formatting flow. Both series have incredible theme music. Second, the opening credits portion are very similar... Yoshimune is stampeeding on a horse, while Kamen Rider V3 is riding along on his motorcycle with bombs blowing up around him. And, the fighting scenes have some really cheezy sound effects (well, Abarenbo Shogun has a lot less).</p>
<p>The second show is the 1957 movie ''Toyama no Kinsan Hayabusa Bugyo'' (TOEI, 1957). Kataoka Chiezo plays the character of Toyama Kinshiro, a commissioner from northern Edo. He goes undercover as a commoner to unravel the mystery behind a series of murders committed within the city. Kinshiro and Yoshimune are almost identical in that they detect trouble within the city, they disguise themselves so that they blend in, they find out who the bad guys are, and then they kick butt! The only difference is that Kinshiro has his shoulders covered with Sakura tattoos, which he displays when confronting the bad guys. All Yoshimune does is say, "I know who you are! Drop that sword and put your hands up!!!!"</p>

==Synopsis==
Tokugawa Yoshimune becomes the 8th Shogun of the Tokugawa Shogunate. From rural Kishu Province, he did not expect to become the Shogun although he is from one of the 3 main Tokugawa families. As the Shogun, his life becomes very formal with strict rules and traditions he must follow. He continues to have bad people creating havoc within his capital city of Edo (now known as Tokyo). With the help of his close associates, Lord Tokugawa secretly leaves his castle to roam throughout his city, disguised as Tokuda Shinnosuke, the 3rd son of a poor Hatamoto family (retainers to the Shogun), living in Edo.

By mixing in with the population, Shin-san (as everyone in the city calls him) is able to research issues first-hand and o see if any reforms are needed. His helpers include ''oniwaban'' (ninjas who are guards in the inner castle), the captain of the Megumi fire company and Ooka Tadasuke, the Magistrate of South Edo. Yoshimune uses the headquarters of the Megumi fire company as his base while he's away from Edo Castle. The captain of the company, and the oniwaban know his identity, but everyone else in the city remains unaware that he is the Shogun.

Once Yoshimune solves the crimes, he confronts the villains. Just about every time, the bad people whip our their samurai swords in an attempt to kill Yoshimune, although most of the time they still don't know who he REALLY is or think that he is an imposter. Most of the time, Yoshimume flips his samurai sword so that the dull side is out. This way, he can still take his opponents down without making sashimi out of them. Very rarely will he actually hit people with the sharp part of the blade... They have to be some really mean guys for Yoshimune to go that far!
<p>The show was frequently topical, and touched on many themes of present-day life. The most common subject was political corruption. Drugs, unequal power relationships, poverty, urbanization, the generation gap, inflation, and the tension between Japanese and foreign knowledge were recurring themes.</p>

==Review==
When I first watched Aberenbo Shogun, two other shows came to mind. The first one is the tokusatsu Japanese TV series ''Kamen Rider V3'' (TOEI, 1973). Both Abarenbo Shogun and V3 are quite similar in the way the formatting flow. Both series have incredible theme music. Second, the opening credits portion are very similar... Yoshimune is stampeeding on a horse, while Kamen Rider V3 is riding along on his motorcycle with bombs blowing up around him. And, the fighting scenes have some really cheezy sound effects (well, Abarenbo Shogun has a lot less).</p>
<p>The second show is the 1957 movie ''Toyama no Kinsan Hayabusa Bugyo'' (TOEI, 1957). Kataoka Chiezo plays the character of Toyama Kinshiro, a commissioner from northern Edo. He goes undercover as a commoner to unravel the mystery behind a series of murders committed within the city. Kinshiro and Yoshimune are almost identical in that they detect trouble within the city, they disguise themselves so that they blend in, they find out who the bad guys are, and then they kick butt! The only difference is that Kinshiro has his shoulders covered with Sakura tattoos, which he displays when confronting the bad guys. All Yoshimune does is say, "I know who you are! Drop that sword and put your hands up!!!!"</p>

==Synopsis==
Naïve, young Tian Si Si, the apple of her father's eye and sole heir to her family's riches, believes herself in love with the romantic great hero, Qin Ge of the Meteor Clan, whom she has yet to meet. ==Synopsis==
Naïve, young Tian Si Si, the apple of her father's eye and sole heir to her family's riches, believes herself in love with the romantic great hero, Qin Ge of the Meteor Clan, whom she has yet to meet. ==Synopsis==
After a corporate restructuring, Mr. Ogura, an aging manager, is assigned to run La Mer, a French restaurant in Japan. Joe Satake, a very talented French Japanese wine expert, has been asked by Ms. Katagiri, Mr. Ogura's immediate supervisor, to help. Using his expertise and keen observation skills, Joe is a genius in selecting the right wine for every occasion for his customers. He is very eccentric and has high standards, demanding that the wine be properly handled and appreciated.

On his flight to Japan from Europe, he comments on the wine selected by Nao, an arrogant, young self-styled wine connoisseur and fellow passenger who coming back from a shopping spree, angering her when he starts by saying, "the wine is crying…" In a series of accidental encounters, Joe keeps bumping into Nao, who grows angrier and more determined to get back at him in some way. ==Synopsis==
A romantic comedy about the Linghu family who have a tradition of matchmaking since the Jin Dynasty. Golden Fan struggles to get the best of Quan Jiafu, a rogue and a genius at marketing, who seems to be going after her own matchmaking clients. Dear Lulu,

I did look at other sites to find out what the drama was about before I saw it. I was not content with what was written and since Drama-wiki did not have a good description, I re-wrote and expanded the synopsis for you.

Is this okay? Should I have done it differently?

I was going to submit another synopsis since I could not find it in Drama-wiki. I found it in d-addicts.com and started watching it. Since I have a small computer, I have to be much more selective since it takes time to download and upload and I often use Drama-wiki to help me decide.

Megumi Noda, or "Nodame" is a piano student at Momogaoka College of Music. She is messy and disorganized, takes baths several days apart and loves to eat, sometimes stealing her friend's lunchbox when it is filled with delicacies.

Shinichi Chiaki, is Momogaoka's top student. Born into a musical family, he is talented in piano and violin and has secret ambitions to become a conductor. An arrogant multi-lingual perfectionist who once lived abroad in the music capitals of the world as a young boy, he feels mired in Japan because of a childhood phobia.

They meet by accident. Nodame quickly falls in love, but it takes much longer for Chiaki to even begin to appreciate Nodame's unusual qualities. Their relationship causes them both to develop and grow. Because of Nodame, Chiaki transfers into the Conductor Division, leads a student orchestra and begins to have a broader appreciation of people's musical abilities. Because of Chiaki, Nodame faces her fears and enters a piano competition. Opportunities open up as both begin taking risks, stretching themselves far more than they ever thought possible.

Leung Tsan, a cook and a disciple of Wing Chun Master, Wong Wah Po, just wants to earn enough money to marry his sweetheart, Cheung Kin Hei. Just when his dream becomes possible, he becomes a suspect in the murder of a Manchu martial arts expert when he flees the scene with Ping Yi whom he accidentally met. His master sends him to his classmate, Leung Yee Tai, in Foshan for safety. Determined to return to marry his fiancee, he begins his own investigation into the murder.

Hearing rumors that Tsan may have fled to Foshan to avoid marrying her, Hei and her herbalist father soon follow. But because of her forthright actions and outspoken ways, Hei ends up having to agree to a fake temporary marriage with the powerful and rich old merchant, Mr. Chan, in order to save herself from a lustful villain. Mr. Chan dies soon after the wedding, leaving her a widow. Determined to help Mr. Chan's family, she stays a while longer to run his business and later, to help reform his delinquent son, Chan Wah Shun.

His investigations lead Tsan to Mr. Chan's businesses and he tries to find work there. He becomes a cook for the Chan family and is shocked to find Cheung Kin Hei there, married. Misunderstandings arise. Tsan continues to investigate. Tai, an official, befriends him and tries to keep Tsan clear of the case. A beautiful Manchu princess meets Tsan and after a series of misadventures, decides she wants a closer acquaintance with him. Unknown to him, the murder is tied to the corrupt dealings of a very high government official. After the truth is finally revealed, he has to find a way to win his sweetheart back again because of all that has happened.

==Synopsis==
Situ Jin, a mischievous free-thinking lady, and her companion, A Ling, go on a series of adventures. She does not know that she is a princess of the former royal family. To protect her family's reputation outside the home, Situ Jin dresses as a man and calls herself Xiao Longxia. Concerned about the plight of the refugees which the officials have been ignoring, she comes up with various schemes to help them.

Emperor Zhu Yun has been steadily working on consolidating the empire that his father had left him. A monk once gave him a puzzle, telling him that whoever solves it will help him with the problems of the empire. He escapes from his palace to wander around the city with his companion. He befriends Xiao Longxia after he realizes that the money she has conned and stolen from others is being spent on the refugees. When Xiao Longxia solves the puzzle, he decides to maintain closer ties with her.

The prince of Yunnan resents the emperor since his sister, the previous queen, had been killed with her family. He sends his son, Bai Yu Fei, to cause unrest and to marry Princess An Ning.

An unlikely friendship develops between the Emperor, Xiao Longxia and Bai Yu Fei, each pretending to the others to be someone else. Palace and court intrigues, rebellion and assasination plots abound.
