==Synopsis==
The life of Go Eun Chan ([[Yoon Eun Hye]]) is not easy; she works many jobs to pay off debts and even gave up her feminine image. Choi Han Kyul ([[Gong Yoo]]) is the heir of a big food company, but his grandmother wants him to settle down, so she arranged many dates for him. After Eun Chan bumped into Han Kyul and was mistaken for a boy, Han Kyul decided to hire Eun Chan to be his gay lover in order to avoid the arranged dates. Desperately in need of money, Eun Chan had no choice but to accept. Han Kyul's grandmother also made Han Kyul in charge of a filthy coffee shop in danger of being bankrupt. Eun Chan begged to work at the coffee shop, and not long after, feelings start to spark, except, how would Han Kyul accept his "homosexuality"?

==Synopsis==
The Magicians of Love was such a huge hit in Taiwan that the film makers had to re-edit the drama. At first, it was going to be 18 episodes long but they extended it to 22.
World-wide famous hair salon Neo-Image has just opened. The beautiful hairstyles of the three popular hairstylists (Artz, Richie and Fernando) attract huge crowds. At this time, an external official came to them for help. There was an event called "The Chinese Hairstyle Competition" and they have found a part-time working young female hair-dresser, Xiao Bei, to compete against the French stylist to help advertise the French Hair Products. As this competition will greatly affect the country's status, the three guys decided to help. 
Later, they find talent in Xiao Bei and trick her into working for Neo-Image, since she refused to cooperate without a fight. One day, Xiao Bei is about to be hit by a car when Artz pushes her away and saves her life. He was wearing a jacket with the number 23 on it. When Xiao Bei saw Richie wearing the jacket and assumed that he was her savior, and she fell for him. However, Richie leads a dangerous life and he lives without knowing if he will have a "tomorrow" or not. 
Xiao Bei volunteers at a retirement home. A coincidence occurs involving Xiao Bei and Artz visiting his grandma Li Lian at the same time. ==Biography==
She started when she was 14 and started appearing in Hong Kong movies and commercials. At 15, she auditioned for a girlband to be launched by BMG Records called 4 in Love and passed with flying colors. From then on, she was called "Rainie" to fit in with the weather-based named girls; she was originally named Lily. She moved to Taiwan, and pursued her acting career as she lived with her co-band members under one roof. She starred in various dramas starting with the mega blockbuster Meteor Garden where she played a supporting yet pivotal role, the cute Xiao You (Hana Yori Dango's "Yuki" Chinese counterpart). The rest is history as she proceeded on to be a much-loved leading lady by respectable men and starred in more bankable dramas. Unfortunately, late 2002, for reasons, 4 in Love had to disband. Windie and Sunnie proceeded with their studies and Cloudie pursued to be a stewardess. Rainie was left in the E-circle and now as a solo artist resuming with her career and reaching new heights and levels with a new alternative- as a host. She had discovered her hosting skills with the hosting jobs she did left and right. She did that without wrecking her acting career where she also received many projects. She continued singing by performing on the OSTs of her dramas. 2005 was the breakthrough year for Rainie, her leading TV mini series "Devil Beside You" (恶魔在身边) with Mike He has brought her song Ai Mei a complete success. She holds the record as the first Chinese Newcomer to achieve platinum status in her debut album My Intuition Ai Mei.

==Review==
The show basically touches on issues our generation of kids face in high school like sexuality: gay/lesbian, the harmful effects of rumours, monetary problems, gangs etc. It's directed by, director DJ Chen. "Seventh Grade" is a Taiwanese nick-name referring to directors born in the 1980s, the seventh decade after the founding of the Chinese republic in 1911.

However, it touches on these issues lightly and seems to give a sense of homophobia. At any rate, the show is a hodgepodge of stereotypes trying to represent present day high school students. While the acting of the older actors are convincing enough, the younger actors in the supporting class have a lot to work on. Only Ariel Lin seemed to shine in her lead character as Yeah Li, but for some reason her character "leaves to America" half way through the series and never comes back, perhaps Ms. Lin realized there were better shows out there to be in or had conflicting ideas with the director, either way, it's a pity her character leaves. Ms. Lin does a great job portraying head strong girls. Kelly Lin plays the head cheerleading coach and while she's pretty, her acting needs a little working on. However, as a whole, the entire cast worked well and judging from the behind the scenes clips it seemed like they had a lot of fun filming this series. It's a pretty short series and the ending makes the audience feel gypped. Mike He is also in this drama although his character is a supporting minor character, he now is a generation idol, but this show is his humble beginning.

However, the one actor that stood out in my mind, 顧瀚昀, plays the "romantic lead" to Ariel Lin's character. His character is called Li Zi Wei - 李子威, shaven head, earring wearing, gangsta looking kid, but is a budding star, and does well in this series. If only he were in more series, because he and Ariel made this series watchable. It's really cute how he "waits" for her to come back. So sweet.

All in all, the movie's acting and script is a 2 out of 5, but I rate the directing 4 out of 5, hence overall, the movie was a 3 out of 5 movie experience.
