==Synopsis==
April 1st 2004 - News came that Hong Kong's largest triad Hao is planning to kill Wong Jung Yeung who is going to be the Commissioner of Police in a month's time. Three unrelated policemen, Fung Chi Wai (Criminal Investigation Division), Wong Ka Fai (chief of Criminal Investigation Bureau) and undercover Yeung Kai Dong find themselves implicated.

Head of the Hao triad Hao Man Wah and Thai triad boss Sam join forces and Thai police Rita takes over the investigation.

For both official and personal reasons, Fai must complete his mission in thirty days. He discovered that Luk Yiu Gwok, an inspector of Organised Crime and Triad Bureau has an unusual relationship with Wah and starts investigating him. Gwok is soon found dead. Before he died, he met up with Wai. On top of that, Wai meets up with Wah's girlfriend Pang Wai, hence becoming Fai's target for investigation. On the other hand, Rita suspects something fishy about Gwok's death and so joins in with Fai's investigation. Every mission was foiled, causing Fai to suspect Rita's identity. While Wai is being suspected by his own, he launches his own investigation of Sam. However, Sam saved him several, causing him to wonder if Sam is a friend or foe.

Wah is finally caught. Wai, Dong and Fai prepare to spend a quiet day. And then all three get arrested! The mystery will be unraveled on April 30th......

A hopeless inveterate gambler in debt (Matsumoto Hitoshi) is beaten up by a gangboss (Takenaka Naoto), and forced to work in a highschool as a lead teacher til he pays his debts off. His co-teacher is demoted by the gangboss (secretly) and is played by Nakai Masahiro. Hitoshi and Masahiro have incredible rapport, stunning comedic dialogues, and a brilliant staging during their 11 adventures as they problem solve difficulties in the high school in areas such as: bullying, a mother/son problem, an arrogant girl with no friends, a suicide, and all along Hitoshi is shaken down by the gangboss everytime he receives a paycheck.

Some call it the comic side of GTO.

For Americans it is the equivalent of "Room 222" or "Welcome back Kotter", but with an IQ of 150, not 25. A smart series, with unpredictable incredible plotting, superb comic patter (the comic routines were scripted by Hitoshi/Naoto, and at times improvised).

No script for this on the internet in English, and no translations on any disk available in English, but was available for a time in HK with Chinese subtitles as a bootleg.

Waiting to be made into a film.

Brilliant. 10/10.

"Please tell me who I really am."

This e-mail message was sent by Mika Kimoto, an editor working at a publisher in Daiba, Tokyo.

Coming from a wealthy family, Mika has always had everything she has ever wanted and more. She is a third-generation Korean living in Japan. She loves her job, and her Japanese boyfriend is a doctor.

There's one thing that bothers Mika though... Her father Masao is very conscious of his ethnic heritage and will allow Mika to marry only a Korean. When her relationship falls apart because of her father's interference, she just happens to post the above message on a mobile phone dating service.

Ryosuke, a blue-collar warehouse worker at Shinagawa Pier, replies to Mika's message.

Daiba and Shinagawa Pier are separated by Tokyo Bay.
Mika is a career woman working at a major firm.
Ryosuke lives a meager life doing manual labor at a warehouse.
There seems to be nothing in common between the two. Still, destiny brings them together.

One day Mika happens to find her late mother Yuri's diary. Written within is the tale of Yuri's concealed relationship with a Japanese man before she married Masao. ==Synopsis==
In 1988 Hokkaido's Hokusei Yoichi High School became the first high school in Japan to accept students who had previously dropped out of high school from nationwide. Hokkaido Broadcasting (HBC) has been covering this school for 15 years and aired a documentary last spring that caused a stir all over the country. Now TBS in cooperation with HBC will create a drama based on the school.

The drama will follow a former gang member, dropout and graduate of the school who returns as a teacher. We will follow him as he helps graduating students out into the world. The teachers and students will, as you would expect, confront all the issues of youth and society today. At this school, there are no compromises, no lies. ==Synopsis==
Four schoolboys find themselves the last virgins left at school. During the summer holidays, a girl they knew as children 11 years ago, moves back to the neighborhood. ==Synopsis==
It is Christmas, (2000) and Yazuki Ataru ([[Kanno Miho]]) gets stuck working overtime. When she finally gets off work, she rushes home dressed in a Santa suit to surprise her live-in boyfriend, Ken. She shouts, "Merry Christmas" as she opens the door, but there's no answer. She desperately searches the house for Ken, but he is nowhere to be found. Even his belongings are gone! Thinking it is some kind of joke or something, Ataru runs to long-time friend Aizawa Kaoru's ([[Oshio Manabu]]) house. But the only one there is her friend Kaoru, spending Christmas alone making sweet and sour pork. Where is he? Ataru asks. Huh? Kaoru replies. Ken's not here? She asks. You mean he's walked out on you? Kaoru replies. It finally sinks in that Ken is gone. On Christmas...on the day of their first anniversary living together. Ataru, unable to hide her emotions, curls up into a ball as she makes her way into the "kotatsu". As he opens the "Christmas cake", Kaoru realizes that Ataru was ready to propose to Ken. The last Christmas of the millennium proves to be a lonely one for both.
