==Synopsis==
In April 1986, an orientation is being conducted for Sangyo Chuo Bank’s new employees. The last course is practical training on financing strategy for the two outstanding teams. The leaders for the respective teams are Kaido Akira and Yamazaki Akira who are both graduates of Tokyo University. Kaido’s team is the company applying for a loan while Yamazaki’s team is the bank scrutinising the application. Kaido’s proposal is beyond anyone’s imagination but Yamazaki sees through this. The two of them commend each other for putting up a good fight, and this becomes the stuff of legend that gets passed down from generation to generation. As the son of the owner of one of Japan’s leading companies, Kaido was born with an easy life and is promised a future as the next company president. On the other hand, the genius Yamazaki suffered hardships after his father’s company went bankrupt and their family had to run away at night. The two of them have created their own lives and joined the same bank. In fact, their lives had even crossed paths before this. But they have yet to realise this fact. Kaido and Yamazaki motivate each other as good friends and rivals as they overcome difficulties. And then, in what can only be described as cruel “destiny”, a punishing ordeal drops on them. ==Synopsis==
University student Wakamizu Ryota (Emoto Tokio), who is the middle of job hunting, gets caught up in a sudden gang dispute. Ryota’s life is saved by Yanagiba Ryuichi (Namase Katsuhisa), the boss of Yanagiba-gumi, and Ryota for some reason ends up harbouring Yanagiba in his own home. ===Synopsis===
The story continues with Michiko still working as a freelance doctor at the Teito University Hospital. Enjoying herself at a horse-race in Hokkaido from an invite by Dr Kanbara Akira, Michiko happens to chance upon a scene at the owners' box. The elegant woman draped in a fur coat, sipping champagne with her handsome younger lover. Her attention is soon diverted to the race, as she cheers on the horse that she had bet on. Suddenly, the said horse veered into the path of another horse, causing a nasty fall. Michiko then overhears the elegant woman, who happens to be the injured horse's owner, lamenting "A hundred million yen horse, euthanised just like that". To which the vet replies, "Even a surgery will result in 100% failure". Michiko then chimes in, "If it was me, I would succeed"...

A few weeks later, in the conference at the Teito University Hospital, the Internal Medicine Executive Manager announces that there will be a patient checking into the hospital for treatment on osteosarcoma of the thighbone. The Chief surgeon, Hiruma, and all his staff concur that the best treatment would be to amputate the leg, when a voice pipes up, "I disagree!", that heralds the appearance of Michiko!

===Synopsis===
Daimon Michiko is a freelance surgeon who does not belong to a university hospital’s medical department. She goes around various hospitals while affiliated with Kanbara Akira’s shady Good Doctors Agency. One day, Michiko is visiting a southern island when she encounters passengers who were injured in a luxury liner accident. One of them is Busujima Ryunosuke, the former hospital director of Teito Medical University’s Third Hospital, which she was sent to at one time. Michiko quickly attends to Busujima. That is when she notices something abnormal. Busujima is later admitted to the National Higher Medical Care Centre, a technologically advanced hospital which the country has staked its prestige on in order to show Japan’s medical technology to the world. He has a huge heart tumour as well as a ruptured hepatocellular carcinoma. There is a big upheaval regarding this surgery at a preoperative conference because a futile power struggle between the factions of Totei University Hospital and Saikyo University Hospital, which represent Japan’s east and west, is intensifying at the centre. This struggle for supremacy has reached the point that it makes even Tendo Yoshihito, the director of the centre, fret. The two factions naturally fight to be in charge of Busujima’s surgery and will not give an inch. Michiko suddenly shows up at this savage conference and boldly declares, “Let me operate. He’s my patient.” However, she gets thrown out unceremoniously. Right after that, the situation undergoes a complete change. The men of both factions hire Michiko and contemplate how to tip the power play in their favour. In the end, Michiko is employed as Busujima’s attending physician. ===Synopsis===
The story continues with Michiko still working as a freelance doctor at the Teito University Hospital. Enjoying herself at a horse-race in Hokkaido from an invite by Dr Kanbara Akira, Michiko happens to chance upon a scene at the owners' box. The elegant woman draped in a fur coat, sipping champagne with her handsome younger lover. Her attention is soon diverted to the race, as she cheers on the horse that she had bet on. Suddenly, the said horse veered into the path of another horse, causing a nasty fall. Michiko then overhears the elegant woman, who happens to be the injured horse's owner, lamenting "A hundred million yen horse, euthanised just like that". To which the vet replies, "Even a surgery will result in 100% failure". Michiko then chimes in, "If it was me, I would succeed"...

A few weeks later, in the conference at the Teito University Hospital, the Internal Medicine Executive Manager announces that there will be a patient checking into the hospital for treatment on osteosarcoma of the thighbone. The Chief surgeon, Hiruma, and all his staff concur that the best treatment would be to amputate the leg, when a voice pipes up, "I disagree!", that heralds the appearance of Michiko!

===Synopsis===
Daimon Michiko is a freelance surgeon who does not belong to a university hospital’s medical department. She goes around various hospitals while affiliated with Kanbara Akira’s shady Good Doctors Agency. One day, Michiko is visiting a southern island when she encounters passengers who were injured in a luxury liner accident. One of them is Busujima Ryunosuke, the former hospital director of Teito Medical University’s Third Hospital, which she was sent to at one time. Michiko quickly attends to Busujima. That is when she notices something abnormal. Busujima is later admitted to the National Higher Medical Care Centre, a technologically advanced hospital which the country has staked its prestige on in order to show Japan’s medical technology to the world. He has a huge heart tumour as well as a ruptured hepatocellular carcinoma. There is a big upheaval regarding this surgery at a preoperative conference because a futile power struggle between the factions of Totei University Hospital and Saikyo University Hospital, which represent Japan’s east and west, is intensifying at the centre. This struggle for supremacy has reached the point that it makes even Tendo Yoshihito, the director of the centre, fret. The two factions naturally fight to be in charge of Busujima’s surgery and will not give an inch. Michiko suddenly shows up at this savage conference and boldly declares, “Let me operate. He’s my patient.” However, she gets thrown out unceremoniously. Right after that, the situation undergoes a complete change. The men of both factions hire Michiko and contemplate how to tip the power play in their favour. In the end, Michiko is employed as Busujima’s attending physician. ==Synopsis==
Two transfer students, Atsuko Maeda and Onizuka Daruma came at the all-girls school Majisuka Gakuen. In this school violence and fighting are common among the Yankee students. Noisy and trouble maker Daruma made a fuss as soon as she entered the school, win in her first fight but then was beaten easily by another gang shortly after. In contrary to Daruma's bold-but-powerless attitude, Maeda who is truthfully a strong girl despite of her silent nature found Daruma is beaten by Team Hormon before her. The word "Majisuka?" (means ''are you serious?'') instantly awaken her true nature and made her won the battle against Daruma's attackers easily, thus made a big fuss at the school and the news even reached the strongest fighting group, Rappapa. Afterwards, Daruma acknowledged Maeda as her boss and as a result the friendship between the two girls began to grow along with their fights with fellow students at their school.

==Synopsis==
Two transfer students, Atsuko Maeda and Onizuka Daruma came at the all-girls school Majisuka Gakuen. In this school violence and fighting are common among the Yankee students. Noisy and trouble maker Daruma made a fuss as soon as she entered the school, win in her first fight but then was beaten easily by another gang shortly after. In contrary to Daruma's bold-but-powerless attitude, Maeda who is truthfully a strong girl despite of her silent nature found Daruma is beaten by Team Hormon before her. The word "Majisuka?" (means ''are you serious?'') instantly awaken her true nature and made her won the battle against Daruma's attackers easily, thus made a big fuss at the school and the news even reached the strongest fighting group, Rappapa. Afterwards, Daruma acknowledged Maeda as her boss and as a result the friendship between the two girls began to grow along with their fights with fellow students at their school.

During the Kyoho period in the reign of Tokugawa Yoshimune, there is a gang of thieves active not just in Edo but also the Tokaido and the Nakasendo, and all across the Kansai region, stealing large sums of money with skillful techniques. They only target the very wealthy and never kill or injure people. They appear with the clouds and disappear like the mist. On the night that the beautiful Ochiyo is to become the bride of a dry goods dealer, a large amount of money hidden inside the shop is stolen. The gang disappears without injuring anyone. It was a two-year plan to marry Ochiyo off so that she could bring them in. The leader of this gang is Kumokiri Nizaemon, the greatest bandit of all time. He keeps a rein on his highly-skilled and notorious followers Nanabake no Ochiyo, Kinezumi no Kichigoro, Subashiri no Kumagoro, Ingakozo Rokunosuke and others. Five outstanding researchers from the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department's crime lab are gathered and given powers for special investigations in response to diversified modern crimes. They are called the Scientific Task Force or ST for short. The new, elite Inspector Yurine Tomohisa ([[Okada Masaki]]) becomes the ST's commanding officer. Meanwhile, a shooting rampage breaks out. Five people are shot and one of them, a female company employee, dies. The media reports this as Japan's first case of indiscriminate shooting. The ST is mobilised and Yurine heads to the crime scene. The members of ST have already arrived: Aoyama Sho ([[Shida Mirai]]), a profiler who skipped grades and graduated from an American school with a PhD in criminal psychology; Kurosaki Yuji ([[Kubota Masataka]]), a chemical expert with such an excellent sense of smell that he is able to discern the scent of poisonous substances; Yamabuki Saizo ([[Miyake Hiroki]]), a chemical expert who is also a monk; Yuki Midori ([[Ashina Sei]]), a physicist who also has an exceptional sense of hearing. All of them possess great abilities but are socially inept. The most eccentric of them is their leader and forensic expert, Akagi Samon ([[Fujiwara Tatsuya]]). Akagi, who has a fear of other people, confines himself in his own room and analyses cases based on the information from Aoyama and the rest. The ST members besides Yurine and Akagi join the investigtation meeting. When the team's opinion is sought, Aoyama reads out from Akagi's email, "Nothing can be said because there is insufficient information to make any judgement". Furthermore, Aoyama criticises the line of investigation that has been adopted, asserting that this is not an indiscriminate shooting but a premeditated act. Aoyama's attitude antagonises the investigators. It is as good as calling the detectives on the scene fools. Because no information is coming in from the investigtation task force, the ST leave for the crime scene to establish proof that the case was premeditated. Hira Takehiro is a member of the "elite" in more ways than one. The son of actors [[Hira Mikijiro]] and [[Sakuma Yoshiko]], he went to the US at the age of 15 to study at Brown University and later graduate school at Columbia University. == Synopsis ==
Based on a tip-off that illegal drugs with a street value of 1.5 billion yen is being hidden in the mountains, Kunugiya Hyosuke ([[Kamikawa Takaya]]) and others from the Special Investigations Division go after the new drug gang Cryptogame. The only clue that they have is the word ‘Kita’ which an informant had divulged with his last breath. As a result of the intelligence gathered with the help of the Counter-Narcotics Team, they finally get hold of the whereabouts of one of the gang’s top leaders, Takayanagi Takeshi ([[Hirayama Yusuke]]). However, during the chase, Takeshi is stabbed by someone. It is learnt from the DNA on the leather jacket and gloves left behind at the scene that these belong to former narcotics investigator Izawa Ryuji ([[Hirayama Hiroyuki]]) who had been pursuing Cryptogame. But there has been no word from Izawa since three months ago. There are suspicions within the police organisation that Izawa has close ties to Cryptogame. With Takeshi’s murder and Izawa’s items at the scene, the Special Investigations Division regards Izawa as a key person and goes after him. Furthermore, it is discovered from data that has been analysed that Cryptogame has moved its base to Kyoto. And so, Kunugiya and the others head to Kyoto. Before long, it is determined that the boss of Cryptogame is a person called Kurashiki. However, Cryptogame’s top leaders get killed one after another as the Special Investigations Division and police dogs give chase. Izawa’s connection to Cryptogame gradually emerges. The detectives of the Special Investigations Division and their seven police dogs begin a last-ditch investigation. --''Jdramas''--
