==About Park Yong Ha==
Park Yong Ha had debuted fifteen years ago in youth shows like KBS's 1995 '''Love Blossoms in the Classroom''' and 1996's '''Start'''. He shot to fame with 2002's [[Winter Sonata]], which made him a household name and a “Hallyu star.” He used that fame as a springboard to pursue a singing career in Japan, where he enjoyed quite a lot of popularity. He had two recent successful drama hits with 2008's [[On Air (2008)|On Air]], and with 2009's [[A Man's Story|Story of a Man]].

Most recently, Park Yong Ha was cast alongside Yoon Eun Hye in the high-profile drama remake of Hong Kong film Tian Mi Mi, tentatively titled Love Song.

He was was discovered dead at his home in Nonhyun-dong, Seoul, on the morning of June 30, 2010. He was 32. Many friends and colleagues were in shock with the news, specially actress Park Si Yeon who was so devastated that there's is the risk she might not be able to finish filming her current drama [[Coffee House]].

==Synopsis==
This drama is about the behind the scene in TV drama productions. It also portrays how the whole production team and performers complete a project in a tight schedule as well as how actors, actresses, and entertainment agencies handle rumors surrounding them. Jang Ki Joon (Lee Bum Soo) used to be a top manager in the business but he went bankrupt as he couldn't compete with other powerful agencies. He was 'rescued' by Oh seung Ah ( Kim Ha Neul) a top star who agreed to join his agency after breaking off with her former one. Lee Kyung Min (Park Yong Ha) was a drama PD who got his first chance at being a director. Seo Young Eun (Song Yoon Ah) is a much sought after script writer who was divorced and has a young son.

Wikipedia, for example, focuses on precise accuracy of its information, which is really important when producing an encyclopedia-like service. DramaWiki, however, places its focus on the ease of searching for information. The guidelines DramaWiki use when romanizing Chinese text are that:
* the words and phrases, including proper nouns, be entered using a spelling arrangement that is most common among Chinese drama fans.

* the words and phrases can be queried using a variety of Internet-based search engines using their default interfaces and settings.

Hanyu Pinyin was approved in 1958 and adopted in 1979 by the government of the People's Republic of China. Since then, all other romanization systems in the PRC have been superseded by Hanyu Pinyin. Romanization of China drama and cast names are relatively straight-forward as all would be governed by the Hanyu Pinyin system.

Unfortunately, this is not usually the case for non-mainland Chinese dramas and artistes, although information can still be found using Hanyu Pinyin.

Most drama and artiste names, when romanized, will probably be romanized using this standard. Many will probably also have English language names as well.

Taiwan has three romanization standards in use today. Tongyong Pinyin, the official romanization standard adopted by the National Government of the Republic of China (Taiwan) in 2000 and Wade-Giles, which is the de-facto standard particularly for individuals' names. Tongyong Pinyin was never popular, as it was more of a political position adopted to oppose mainland China's standardization.
However, on September 17, 2008, the Ministry of Education announced that the government standard for romanization will be switched to Hanyu Pinyin (the standard on mainland China) nationwide, effective January 1, 2009. Individuals will retain the choice of what spellings to use for their names.

Unfortunately, usage of romanizations of personal names by the Taiwanese has been idiosyncratic. In fact, most Taiwanese themselves do not know any of the three systems aside from their own personal names. Apart from artiste and place names, though even an artiste's romanized name may be hard to find, it is rare that either romanization will be used to romanize drama names.

== Simplified and Traditional Chinese characters ==
This section explains the usage of simplified and traditional Chinese characters, or Hanzi(汉字/漢字), in Dramawiki. For information on the history of Chinese character simplification, please see Wikipedia's [[Wikipedia:Simplified Chinese character|Simplified Chinese character]] article.

The Government of the People's Republic of China simplified Hanzi in an attempt to promote literacy and its character reform has also been adopted in Singapore and Malaysia. However, due to varying circumstances, simplification was not introduced in other places such as Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau.

As such, Simplified Hanzi will be preferred for articles relating to China and Singapore dramas and casts, while Traditional is preferred for articles relating to Hong Kong and Taiwan dramas and casts. I understand that in Korea, hanja is still used. But we do not use it on DramaWiki. The guidelines we follow regarding character systems are:
* Use only kanji, katakana or hiragana in Japanese articles.
* Use only hanzi in Chinese articles.
* Use only hangul in Korean articles.

==Synopsis==
Naoko Noda, who works in a trading company, is called "anego" by her younger co-workers. What is "anego"? It means "older sister," but in this case it is given as a nickname to Naoko because she is like a big sister to her coworkers, who depend on her to give them advice about everything. This drama, based on a popular novel, depicts realistically how Naoko lives her everyday life, including her love life, the problems she faces, and her uneasiness about the future. Naoko, 32, works in the corporate strategy division. She is single, and has been working hard for 10 years, now she often finds herself in the role of training and guiding the younger female workers. Recently she realizes that most of the temporary and contracted workers' goals are to find an elite male employee within the company to marry. Naoko also hopes that the man of her dreams, a prince on a white horse will one day come into her life, but it seems like her younger co-workers are always the ones who win the hearts of all the elite men. One day, on the way home from work, a handsome man saves Naoko from a drunk man who was bothering her, but she sees the wedding ring on his finger, and feels the emptiness of being single. One day, Naoko goes out to play golf with the general manager and other co-workers, and there she unexpectedly meets her former co-worker, Eriko Sawaki. Eriko seems to have a picture-perfect life; she is married to a company president, and already has one child. Naoko gets distracted by Eriko and the happy atmosphere around her, and ends up with a terrible golf score. After finishing the round, Eriko's husband comes to pick her up, and Naoko is surprised when she sees his face. Eriko's husband is the handsome man who saved her from the drunk man. Naoko's heart starts pounding, and she can't help but envy Eriko's happy life. When working women reach their 30s, they start to worry about various things; "How long should I continue working for this company?", "Will I marry the man I am dating?" "If I continue living like this what will I do when I grow old?" etc. In this drama, the main character, who is a 32-year old single woman working at a prestigious trading company, suddenly finds herself as one of the elders at the office, being a big sister to her younger co-workers. From the outside, it seems like she is a happy and successful businesswoman, but inside she is insecure and worried about her future. This drama, through the main character, portrays the everyday life of working women realistically; what they are really thinking, the problems they face, and how they do their best to survive in this world.

This drama continues off from where the special that aired early this year, 2005, ended. It's about a yakuza member, Toraji ([[Nagase Tomoya]]) who has to collect payments from a man whose son used the money to open an eclectic clothing store. However, Toraji discovers rakugo (traditional Japanese comical monologues) through the man who later teaches him the art. The situations between the characters were hilarious and the comedy was very refreshing. I really enjoyed how the director was able to create a seamless transitioning between the rakugo story-telling - the re-enactment of thestory itself - and then the current drama happenings. It was very innovative and impressive to say the least. Each episode focuses on a different rakugo story and it was surprising that because of this factor, the series still didn't seem episodic, but still proceeded at a nice pace.

The main characters, Toraji played by [[Nagase Tomoya]] and Ryu played by [[Okada Junichi]] are both memorable and funny. They each had a specific character type and firmly stuck to it throughout the drama. The other actors also did a wonderful job. The dialogue in this drama was refreshing and witty. Overall, a great drama!

To put it simply, this is a drama about family. It's about a large family who lives in the countryside and is going through some very trying times. To begin, they are not a very wealthy family, with the father (Takenaka) working as a taxi driver. The mother is in the hospital and appears to have a life-threatening illness. The eldest son (Ichihara) works at a gas station to help make ends meet. The older daughter (Ayase Haruka - Yes, she isn't dead.) is a high school student trying to get into college, while doing most of the housework for the family. The grandfather is the only one who has kind of a cool job, working at an observatory. There is also a very young daughter, but our main eyes through this drama is the younger son, Horo, who is a typical 5th grade student whose dream is to one day save the world. That's quite an ambitious dream, but you can bet that his role in this drama will be to save his family at least.

Horo serves as the narrator for this drama, and it does show his life at school a little bit, but doesn't focus on it too much, so this isn't really a school drama. At least in the first episode, the lives of Horo, Gou, Michiru, and their father seem to be shown for an almost equal amount of time. Most of the advertisements for this drama featured Ichihara and Ayase a lot, since they are the popular young faces of the show, and people have been waiting to see Ayase again since her first and role in [[Sekai no Chuushin de, Ai wo Sakebu]]. They certainly will be two of the bigger characters, but will probably have to give a lot of screen time to Takenaka and [[Kamiki Ryuunosuke]] too.

In case you hadn't noticed the huge cast/character list up there, this drama has a lot of characters worth mentioning - many of them played by pretty well-known actors. There are quite a few other characters outside the Mashiba family as well. The couple played by [[Takahashi Katsumi]] and [[Takahashi Hitomi]] are close friends of the family, and their son is a friend of Horo's. There is a small local drinking establishment that Takenaka and Takahashi Katsumi's characters frequent that is run by a single woman whose spoiled son is an outcast from Horo's school. Also, I'm not really sure how they will fit into the drama yet, but there is also a single man named Nakagawa who works at a lumber yard who has an adopted daughter who hates him and is always truant from school. She seems to have taken a liking to Gou. Finally, there is a young guy who works at the hospital where the mother is staying played by Oguri Shun, who makes advances toward Michiru. There's also another guy at the hospital who is played by [[Tanaka Koutaro]] who you can assume will play some part since he is played by a well-known actor.

Yes, this drama has a ton of characters, and you probably don't care who they all are at this point. I just wanted to cover all the bases, since I'm sure they will all be prove to be important as the drama progresses. They just didn't have enough time to show us everything in one episode (even if it was an extra long first episode). Sure, maybe this is one of those dramas which I could have wrote a better summary of had I seen more than the first episode, but this is the first drama to air this season and I wanted to be sure to cover it before the others begin.

You may not be exactly clear on what this drama is about yet, but it is going to be a drama about a family and their struggles; and there are some good actors and characters which have been set up, so entertainment value shall be present. Set this all to the melody of Michael Jackson's "Ben" (interesting choice of theme music, though not performed by the actual artist anywhere in the show) and you've got a drama.

The one thing that impressed me most about this drama was its very realistic portrayal of Japanese country life, and that of the families who live there. It doesn't glorify or idealize the Japanese countryside as so many other dramas do. The scenery in this one is not necessarily picturesque, and does show just how dirty and rundown rural areas of Japan can actually be. It also shows the shortage of good jobs and how difficult it can be to make ends meet there. I also like the overall shabbiness of the family's house. Though it could still be worse - lots of families in rural Japan live in small houses which are little more than large tool sheds. Readers in less fortunate countries are probably reading this and saying, "Oh boo-hoo. They have it so hard there in Japan, one of the wealthiest countries in the world." But it is important to remember that even in Japan, not everyone necessarily lives as well as the stereotype. At least the often poor and tight living conditions of Japan are pretty well-known. It's important to see things like this drama sometimes and to remember that not all Japanese have life handed to them on a silver platter - as the characters in these dramas all-too-often do.

Anyway, I think this drama is going to be pretty decent, and there are plenty of good reasons to watch it - besides just wanting to see Ayase Haruka again. Check it out.

Yes, this drama has a ton of characters, and you probably don't care who they all are at this point. I just wanted to cover all the bases, since I'm sure they will all be prove to be important as the drama progresses. They just didn't have enough time to show us everything in one episode (even if it was an extra long first episode). Sure, maybe this is one of those dramas which I could have wrote a better summary of had I seen more than the first episode, but this is the first drama to air this season and I wanted to be sure to cover it before the others begin.

You may not be exactly clear on what this drama is about yet, but it is going to be a drama about a family and their struggles; and there are some good actors and characters which have been set up, so entertainment value shall be present. Set this all to the melody of Michael Jackson's "Ben" (interesting choice of theme music, though not performed by the actual artist anywhere in the show) and you've got a drama.

The one thing that impressed me most about this drama was its very realistic portrayal of Japanese country life, and that of the families who live there. It doesn't glorify or idealize the Japanese countryside as so many other dramas do. The scenery in this one is not necessarily picturesque, and does show just how dirty and rundown rural areas of Japan can actually be. It also shows the shortage of good jobs and how difficult it can be to make ends meet there. I also like the overall shabbiness of the family's house. Though it could still be worse - lots of families in rural Japan live in small houses which are little more than large tool sheds. Readers in less fortunate countries are probably reading this and saying, "Oh boo-hoo. They have it so hard there in Japan, one of the wealthiest countries in the world." But it is important to remember that even in Japan, not everyone necessarily lives as well as the stereotype. At least the often poor and tight living conditions of Japan are pretty well-known. It's important to see things like this drama sometimes and to remember that not all Japanese have life handed to them on a silver platter - as the characters in these dramas all-too-often do.

Anyway, I think this drama is going to be pretty decent, and there are plenty of good reasons to watch it - besides just wanting to see Ayase Haruka again. Check it out.

==Synopsis==
This romantic drama is set in the romantic city of Paris, France. A weird twist of fate connects three people from completely different worlds to one place where they begin to develop feelings towards each other. At first none of them realize what they are getting themselves into, but as they get to know each other more and more their feelings toward each other begin to deepen...

This drama begins when Tae Young decides to go to Paris to work on writing a scenario that would truly capture the essence of this romanic and beautiful city of Paris. There she meets Gi Ju while working at a friend's stall and Soo Hyuk when her bicycle breaks down. Gi Ju asks her to act as his fiance so he could get the interest of a client he was meeting in Paris. While at a party hosted by this client something goes wrong to reveal the truth about their relationship. There they decide to call the whole thing quits and break up. They both go to Korea where fate pulls them back together.

Tae Young, Gi Ju and Soo Hyuk begin to develop friendships with Tae Young and end up feeling more feelings towards her than they initially thought. The thing about both of them having feelings towards one girl was that Gi Ju was Soo Hyuk's uncle and they had grown up like best friends since they were only about 7 years apart. Their feelings towards her slowly begin to be revealed causing heartache for all the people around them.
