==Synopsis==
Based on the popular novel by Jin Yong Kam Yung (aka Louis Cha). He also wrote Legend of the Condor Heroes and Return of the Condor Heroes. This story takes place in a 14th Century China during the Mongolian Yuan Dynasty, roughly 100 years after the events of Return of the Condor Heroes. After decades of struggles, famine, and bitterness which the Chinese citizens blamed on the Yuan Dynasty's misgovernment, the Martial Arts sects have begun to rebel. Prince Ruyong asks Cheng Kun, a Shaolin monk with an ulterior motive, for a plan on how to deal with the rebels.

The story begins with how his parents met (episodes 1-3), then tells his trials as an adolescent (episodes 4-8), proceeds to relate his rise to prominence (episodes 9-23) and reveals the secret behind Heavenly Sword and Dragon Sabre (episode 23), and ends with the confluence of Wuji's love life, the Martial Arts sects' long standing grudges, and cruel fate.

==Commentary==
The special effects take the form of cheesy CG and green screen. The pacing of the story drags in parts, specially early on. The kid they got to play Wuji at age 10 looks like he's 15 or 16. But any flaws in execusion are overcome by the excellent plot and beautiful actresses. Just when you get tired of one hawt actress, the story introduces another one. Before I knew it, I was watching to see how the story unfolds instead of just watching the hawt actresses. Truly, this story is a Wuxia masterpiece where romance and kung fu are intricately intertwined. To quote the great rock band Queen, "Too much love will kill you."

==Songs==
This show was a China-Taiwan-Singapore co-production. It aired identically in all 3 regions except for the ending song. The Taiwanese show had an ending song sung by Alec Su. There is also supposed to be an English version of the opening song. The opening song sings about a man willing to surrender to the woman who has captured his heart. The ending song which Alec Su didn't sing is about a woman who's unwilling to allow the man she loves to have another woman in his heart.

==Synopsis==
Based on the popular novel by Jin Yong Kam Yung (aka Louis Cha). He also wrote Legend of the Condor Heroes and Return of the Condor Heroes. This story takes place in a 14th Century China during the Mongolian Yuan Dynasty, roughly 100 years after the events of Return of the Condor Heroes. After decades of struggles, famine, and bitterness which the Chinese citizens blamed on the Yuan Dynasty's misgovernment, the Martial Arts sects have begun to rebel. Prince Ruyong asks Cheng Kun, a Shaolin monk with an ulterior motive, for a plan on how to deal with the rebels.

The story begins with how his parents met (episodes 1-3), then tells his trials as an adolescent (episodes 4-8), proceeds to relate his rise to prominence (episodes 9-23) and reveals the secret behind Heavenly Sword and Dragon Sabre (episode 23), and ends with the confluence of Wuji's love life, the Martial Arts sects' long standing grudges, and cruel fate.

==Commentary==
The special effects take the form of cheesy CG and green screen. The pacing of the story drags in parts, specially early on. The kid they got to play Wuji at age 10 looks like he's 15 or 16. But any flaws in execusion are overcome by the excellent plot and beautiful actresses. Just when you get tired of one hawt actress, the story introduces another one. Before I knew it, I was watching to see how the story unfolds instead of just watching the hawt actresses. Truly, this story is a Wuxia masterpiece where romance and kung fu are intricately intertwined. To quote the great rock band Queen, "Too much love will kill you."

==Songs==
This show was a China-Taiwan-Singapore co-production. It aired identically in all 3 regions except for the ending song. The Taiwanese show had an ending song sung by Alec Su. There is also supposed to be an English version of the opening song. The opening song sings about a man willing to surrender to the woman who has captured his heart. The ending song which Alec Su didn't sing is about a woman who's unwilling to allow the man she loves to have another woman in his heart.

==Commentary==
The special effects take the form of cheesy CG and green screen. The pacing of the story drags in parts, specially early on. The kid they got to play Wuji at age 10 looks like he's 15 or 16. But any flaws in execusion are overcome by the excellent plot and beautiful actresses. Just when you get tired of one hawt actress, the story introduces another one. Before I knew it, I was watching to see how the story unfolds instead of just watching the hawt actresses. Truly, this story is a Wuxia masterpiece where romance and kung fu are intricately intertwined. To quote the great rock band Queen, "Too much love will kill you."

==Songs==
This show was a China-Taiwan-Singapore co-production. It aired identically in all 3 regions except for the ending song. The Taiwanese show had an ending song sung by Alec Su. There is also supposed to be an English version of the opening song. The opening song sings about a man willing to surrender to the woman who has captured his heart. The ending song which Alec Su didn't sing is about a woman who's unwilling to allow the man she loves to have another woman in his heart.

==Synopsis==
Based on the popular novel by Jin Yong Kam Yung (aka Louis Cha). He also wrote Legend of the Condor Heroes and Return of the Condor Heroes. This story takes place in a 14th Century China during the Mongolian Yuan Dynasty, roughly 100 years after the events of Return of the Condor Heroes. After decades of struggles, famine, and bitterness which the Chinese citizens blamed on the Yuan Dynasty's misgovernment, the Martial Arts sects have begun to rebel. Prince Ruyong asks Cheng Kun, a Shaolin monk with an ulterior motive, for a plan on how to deal with the rebels.

==Biography==
Uchiyama Rina was first discovered in her hometown in Kanagawa prefecture by her current talent agency スウィートパワー(Sweet Power) at the age of 15. Scouts for the agency had been going around Kanagawa looking for future potential talents when they heard of a "cute girl? working at a local bakery store to which young boys flocked for a glimpse of her. Promptly, the scouts arrived at Uchiyama Rina's house, asking for her snapshot. Rina had been napping at the time, and before she knew it, she had been signed by the agency and in 1998, moved to Tokyo to launch her geinoukai (Japanese entertainment) career.

First appearing in a number of commercials and short Japanese dramas, Rina got her first break in the popular drama series, 美??人([[Utsukushii hito|Le Bel Homme]]), playing the role of famed Japanese actor, Tamura Masakazu's daughter. Since then, Rina has been cast in numerous Japanese dramas, often playing opposite members of ジャニーズ事務所(Johnny's Ent), including [[Takizawa Hideaki]], [[Dohmoto Koichi]], [[Nagase Tomoya]], [[Domoto Tsuyoshi]], and [[Kimura Takuya]].
Rina recently appeared in the dramatized biography of 19th century Japanese novelist and writer, called 樋?一葉物語(The Story of Higuchi Ichiyo). Producers chose her for the role, for they believed that among all the young Japanese actresses, she looked best in the traditional kimono outfit. Her portrayal of the late female writer's tumultuous life, cut short at 24 years of age due to tuberculosis, may have won Rina her role in the third and last installment of Ooku. Ooku is the true story of 1800s imperial women and mistress' battle to win the emperor's love. Rina will once again dress in kimono robes in this popular drama series. Critics believe Rina is well suited for roles in Jidaigeki (traditional Samurai-era dramas), and may bode well for her in possibly winning central roles in NHK's Taiga series; Rina has already taken part in 武蔵([[Musashi]] – the story of the ancient Japanese warrior, Miyamoto Musashi), playing the role of a woman driven by ill fortunes to prostitution and unrequited love for [[Musashi]].

Rina has starred in several films, including "Go-Con!? and "?業(Sotugyou)". She is slated to appear in two films in 2005: "深紅(Shinku)?, originally written by acclaimed author Nozawa Hisashi, tells of the suspense-filled story of two 19-year-old girls; one is the daughter of a family brutally murdered, and the other is the daughter of the murderer. Rina will play the victim's daughter, while the murderer's daughter will be played by up-and-coming young actress, Mizukawa Asami. In the other film, "ノブヒロ?ん(Nobuhiro-san)?, Rina is cast as the heroine who is loved by a ghost.

From her early days as an idol (young TV stars who depend primarily on their cute looks), Rina has developed into a thoughtful and intriguing actress, whose career is still in the process of blossoming.

Every woman must have thought so, at least once.

"Actress," "announcer," "flight attendant"... there are many occupations a girl dreams of. Still, number one on the list is no doubt "bride." The one and only moment when that "bride" becomes a beaming existence, is at her "wedding." It's a moment when the bride and groom become the stars of the show. That's why people's passion and willingness to have a successful wedding is just extraordinary.

Weddings during the great bubble years were extravagant. But that was the past. Now the trend is having fancy weddings in restaurants or in a rented home, somewhat like those in Europe and in the United States. That's why we need wedding planners. They're there to listen to the couple's needs, and create a wedding full of originality. A wedding is a once in a lifetime experience (with some exceptions, of course). Both the bride and groom are wedding beginners. With their rich know-how and experience, wedding planners play a significant role in helping these beginners to have the time of their life.

Since it's a once in a lifetime event, couples ask for the impossible. Demands even come from the couple's parents too. Wedding planners have no choice but to listen to all their requests, go through tremendous trouble, and be responsible for everything. Their job is really tough both physically and mentally. Who can imagine that from the flamboyant world they create?

This is a love comedy that takes you behind the scenes of the latest bridal businesses, as well as the human drama of engaged couples, seen through the wedding planners' eyes, as they help to put on weddings.

Toru Oomori (29) works in the accounting department of a medium-sized firm. Unable to escape restructuring by his company, he gets sent to work at an affiliated company, "Sweet Bridal," as its president. Toru realizes his days as a salaried worker are numbered. That's why he's determined to increase sales, and regain lost ground.

There's one major problem though...
An incident hit him one year ago that makes work here, just too miserable. This is where our story begins.

The sky was absolutely clear on this April day, one year ago. The scene, a solemn wedding, in a church where the bride is strolling down the aisle. Ahead of her is the groom, with a huge smile on his face. The church is filled with a pleasant and happy atmosphere...

...and then, a scream breaks the silence. "Yoko!" yells a man who barges into the church. Without thinking, the bride dashes across to him, and the two flee together. The church is now in an uproar, and the groom standing astonished. We've seen this scene in the movie, "The Graduate". What's different from the movie however, is that the main character of this story is not the man who stole the bride, but the foolish groom who had her stolen. Marriage sure has its traumas, doesn't it?

In the company, "Sweet Bridal," not only are all the employees women, but all of them have difficult personalities.

Kanako Terashima (34) who lives with her son Taku (8), was left by her husband for another women after five years of marriage. Although she's the vice-president, Kanako is the one who literally runs the company. To Kanako who loves her job, what bugs and irritates her the most is Toru. Kurumi Aizawa (22) is like Kanako's younger sister. She wants to get married more than anybody else, and can't wait to wear a wedding dress. But when it comes to her own love life, things don't go that smoothly. She can't help feeling inferior to Miss Perfect, Misaki. Kurumi is struggling to find her own self, both at work and in her love life.

Toru feels isolated in this all-female company, so he invites Shuhei Narumi to work for him. Shuhei was Toru's junior in the same photography club at college. Shuehei became a professional photographer at a young age, and worked as an exclusive cameraman for a famous magazine. He must have been through tough times at work, because his friendly and innocent personality from college is now nowhere to be seen. The bridal industry of course, doesn't interest him at all.

Can people who can't even handle their own love lives succeed as wedding planners???

Let's just forget about the men. As for the ladies, even though they have difficult personalities, one thing they have in common is that they all want to "make the wedding a success."

Staying up all night sewing a wedding dress, making the bouquet with painfully chapped fingertips, being yelled at by a restaurant owner, the gospel singers they hire are not only tone deaf but can't dance, the wedding cake collapses, guests get drunk, a bride's father bursts into tears, falling in love with the groom, comforting a bride who has marriage-blue...

Though this business isn't an easy task, all they want to do is "make the wedding a success." Even Toru, who thought wedding receptions were foolish, is touched by their success. Enemies Kanako and Toru, soon learn to respect each other through observing couples having the time of their life. It's not long before the other employees learn to work as a team...

And Toru's wedding trauma...

In this romantic comedy, the story unfolds within a wedding planning company filled with love, laughter, and occasional tears.
