===Synopsis===
Although 23 year old Yamada Naoko is a "super" magician, she is continously fired and constantly hounded by her landlady for the rent being late. After being fired once again, her boss shows her an ad of a physics professor, a non-believer of all things magical, offering money to anyone who can prove to him that magic is real. Desperately needing the money, Naoko accepts the challenge, which is how she comes to meet Professor Ueda. Falling prey to her simple magic tricks, Ueda is impressed, and enlists Naoko to help him uncover the tricks behind a local cult. Their hilarious antics, along with those of police officer Yabe, leads them onto further mysteries, all with tricks needing to be solved in sort of an "X-Files" meets "Scooby-Doo"...

Whereas the first season focuses more on Yamada Naoko and especially the story of her father, the second season is fully dedicated to solve tricky cases for which Yamada Naoko becomes more and more the key element . Unfortunately, we don't progress in the knowledge of the characters. The romantic aspects developed in the first season are not used anymore. And in a sense, we don't really understand why Ueda still needs to contact Naoko each time he faces a difficulty.
Despite this fact, Trick 2 presents the most interesting cases of all seasons. The stories are highly innovative and we get stucked to these clever cases.

===Synopsis===
Ueda Jiro together with 3 other scholars from different universities was invited in a TV program which features the super natural power of a fortuneteller. And of course, all of them were not convinced that such powers do exist. Midorikawa Shoko is known to predict how, when and where will a person dies. And due to some unexpected turn of events a certain man really did die when the show ended as to what Shoko predicted. Meanwhile, Yamada the super magician is once again fired from her job and coincidentally, she saw the TV program on her way home. Ueda phoned her about it and she insisted that she will never go with him no matter what, but because she was kicked-out from her apartment, she went with him nonetheless. And so, Ueda & Yamada went to Midorikawa's mansion and together with the 3 other scholars, they decided to expose Midorikawa Shoko's fraudulent act.

Ueda Jiro is summoned to investigate serial killings that are likely to happen again during a festival to take place in a small village in Okayama. Ueda Jiro and his 3776th assistant Yamada Naoko are invited to witness the will of the last head of the Mizukami family, who died recently, being read out. The will, much to the disappointment of the Mizukami family members, gave out paltry sums of inheritance. However, it also claims that in a box that comes with the will, lies a hint to a treasure worth billions of yen. Whereas the first season focuses more on Yamada Naoko and especially the story of her father, the second season is fully dedicated to solve tricky cases for which Yamada Naoko becomes more and more the key element . Unfortunately, we don't progress in the knowledge of the characters. The romantic aspects developed in the first season are not used anymore. And in a sense, we don't really understand why Ueda still needs to contact Naoko each time he faces a difficulty.
Despite this fact, Trick 2 presents the most interesting cases of all seasons. The stories are highly innovative and we get stucked to these clever cases.

===Synopsis===
Ueda Jiro together with 3 other scholars from different universities was invited in a TV program which features the super natural power of a fortuneteller. And of course, all of them were not convinced that such powers do exist. Midorikawa Shoko is known to predict how, when and where will a person dies. And due to some unexpected turn of events a certain man really did die when the show ended as to what Shoko predicted. Meanwhile, Yamada the super magician is once again fired from her job and coincidentally, she saw the TV program on her way home. Ueda phoned her about it and she insisted that she will never go with him no matter what, but because she was kicked-out from her apartment, she went with him nonetheless. And so, Ueda & Yamada went to Midorikawa's mansion and together with the 3 other scholars, they decided to expose Midorikawa Shoko's fraudulent act.

The credit hogging police officer Yabe Kenzo in [[Trick]] now takes center stage. He saves the Japanese public from various evil doers not with his wit or his bravery, but with sheer stupid luck.

==Synopsis==

That night, Yabe who mistakenly thinks that he has been entrusted with the Blue Oracle investigation by the commissioner, elatedly holds a press conference and makes a great show of declaring war on the criminal. ==Synopsis==
The credit hogging police officer Yabe Kenzo in [[Trick]] now takes center stage. He saves the Japanese public from various evil doers not with his wit or his bravery, but with sheer stupid luck.

Yabe Kenzo and the Public Safety Department uncover a gang of the terror group called ‘Wolf Brigade’ and at the same time forestall multiple, explosive terror attacks. However, they receive a call from ‘Red Wolf’, the leader of the ‘Wolf Brigade’, who threatens to detonate a new type of explosives if his associates are not released within 24 hours. And so, an investigation begins in order to prevent a destructive terror attack. Katsura Miharu, from the General Affairs Section, is also roped in and made to monitor the female proprietress of an established traditional Japanese inn, who is rumoured to be Red Wolf’s former lover.
