The reason for the 500.shtml error is that the MediaWiki software detects something in the article that is on the filter list, such as a word or a web page link. The filter doesn't pro-actively scan for bad words on previously saved articles; rather the filter is updated on every upgrade of the software, and then scans newly edited articles at the point of saving. In the case of Mother and Love, it may have been okay prior to an upgrade, but now something in the article doesn't comply. Like what WaterOB is doing, editing by section may point out the element that is causing the filter conflict. [[User:Groink|Groink]] 12:57, 20 Jun 2007 (CDT)

Editing this page

I can't seem to edit this page. I don't know why but it always go to this page 500.shtml. I was supposed to add a photo of this drama. If someone would be willing to edit it for me, here's the link of the image: Image:Mother and Lover.jpg ==Thanks! Aiscess 16:07, 20 Jun 2007

  • I tried to edit the page to add your picture, but I get the same error message. Hopefully somebody will be able to help and fix the problem soon. Pineapple 12:23, 20 Jun 2007 (CDT)
The same problem occurred for Angel Lover. I believe it is a coding conflict. There is a tedious way to spot and remove the coding that causes the error.
1. Start the page blank.
2. Add the sections back one at a time. Detail, then synopsis, then cast, etc.
3. Do a Show Preview after adding each section. If you encountered 500.shtml, you have spotted the error coding.
4. Leave out that section when saving your action.
5. After everything is done, go back and add back the trouble section.
In Angel Lover, the word “A n g e l i n a” in Synopsis and Cast section was causing the error msg. So I left that word out. Then, everything worked just fine. --WaterOB 12:46, 20 Jun 2007 (CDT)

Groink 12:57, 20 Jun 2007 (CDT)
