Synopsis
Set at the dawn of the 21st century amidst China's economic boom. Due to his brother's death, rural youth Lu Yunxiang is forced to drop out of school to take over Xuntong Express, his brother's company. The private delivery firm struggles against the state-owned "Postal Service" and internal conflicts.
Faced with fierce competition and outdated methods, Lu Yun Xiang recognized that the economic boom and the rise of e-commerce demanded transformation. He expanded his vision, recruiting talent and focusing on technological development. He replaced the failing "family business philosophy" with modern management, culminating in a bold "share swap" to repurchase franchised locations. This drastic move from a decentralized "franchise system" to a centralized "direct operation system" laid the foundation for Xuntong's rebirth.
