Synopsis
Fukuoka Prefecture, Northern Kyushu. As Mayumi and Yukiya quickly registered for marriage after learning that she was pregnant with her eldest daughter Saki, they didn't even have the time to hold their wedding ceremony. Few months later, already pregnant with her second child, they finally were able to have their long sought after wedding ceremony and reception as a family of 3, and Mayumi was full of happiness. In the midst of the happiness, Yukiya receives a call from the hospital. When they had taken the ultra sound to check on their second child, they had found a shadow looming around the outside of the womb. After the re-examination, the result was, 'a malignant lymphoma', in other words, it was the cancer of the blood. Contrary to Yukiya's worries, Mayumi was strong-willed. “In order to give birth to my baby, I'll get better. I'm gonna give it my all.” Mayumi, who had decided to go through with her pregnancy of her second child, put everything on the line for the new life forming inside of her, and with a positive attitude she immerses herself in the life of fighting the disease but… --TBS
