==Synopsis==
Based on popular author [[wikipedia:Giddens Ko|Giddens Ko]]'s semi-autobiographical novel of the same title, the story chronicles the year when his life was more like a movie than real life. The year he won the Best Writer award was also the year the pillar of his family, his mother, was diagnosed with [[wikipedia:Acute myeloid leukemia|acute myeloid leukemia]]. The boys in the family had to pull their big boy pants up as they navigated through the confusing healthcare system, the painful chemotherapy, and the crushing medical debt. While they cared for their mother, their love lives moved along at super speed. His elder brother got married, his younger brother got a girlfriend, and his long-time girlfriend broke up with him.
