Synopsis
The story begins in the 1930s, spanning over 70 years till the modern day between several generations. Ju Xiang is born into a big Peranakan family where her mother is a mistress. Although Ju Xiang became deaf-mute due to a childhood illness, she is kind, beautiful, and talented. Due to their status in the Huang family, Ju Xiang and her mother were treated as servants.
