Synopsis
Yamada Koichi has a cheerful personality and is popular in class, while Aomi Mitsuru is smart but not good at socializing. The two high school classmates are strongly attracted to each other due to their opposite personalities. One morning, Mitsuru witnesses Koichi being hit by a truck. Koichi gets up on the spot and smiles as usual and is still "alive", but his classmates gradually begin to forget his existence.
