Haru and Kanako have been married for four years. They don't have any children, but they both enjoy their job and are happy together. However their lives are suddenly disrupted when Kanako faints from subarachnoid hemorrhage. After the operation, it becomes evident that she has lost some of her memory...her memory of the five years with her husband. She decides to return home to her parents. Her younger brother takes care of her. Meanwhile, Haru's colleague notices that there is something troubling him.

Takenouchi plays Miyamoto Haru, who works as a mechanic at an automobile repair shop. He married his wife Kanako, a librarian, after dating for a year. In their fourth year of marriage, they have no children, but everything seems to be going smoothly. One day, Kanako suffers from a subarachnoid hemorrhage. She successfully undergoes surgery, but she loses only her memories with Haru. Reeling from shock, Haru becomes aware again of just how important Kanako is to him, and he resolves to fall in love all over again with her and try to rebuild their relationship from scratch.
