Synopsis

Kenmochi Reiko is a talented and fearless lawyer working at a major law firm in Japan. Reiko uses her knowledge and skillful speech and managed to save many of her clients from difficult situations. However, Reiko is very particular about winning and will use whatever method she can for her clients, thus causing her to have many enemies inside and outside the law firm.

One day, Reiko was sued by a client for extortion and was given a bonus cut. Angered by the treatment, Reiko decides to take a leave of absence and spends her time sending random emails to her acquaintances. The only one who responded to her is Morikawa Eiji, Reiko's ex-boyfriend. However, the email reply was, "Morikawa Eiji has passed away." The sender of the email is a mysterious person named Shinoda. Reiko later found out that Eiji has left a strange will that says "all of my properties will be handed over to the person who killed me". Wavered by the assets, Reiko decides to make Shinoda the "murderer" to get her share of the assets.
