Synopsis

The Minamis are a young married couple who have just moved into a danchi (multi-unit apartments public housing) somewhere in Tokyo. The danchi is inhabited by old people, comfortable with independently living the remaining of their lives here. On the day Sora and Lemon moved into the danchi, they became acquainted with Hashiba Katsuya, who told them about the quilting club within the danchi. Sora, who had just lost his job at the factory, begins to frequent the quilting sessions, where all the old folks within the danchi get together to quilt together and sell the products for income. Lemon is exasperated with her husband, as she feels her husband should focus on getting another job fast. One day, she loses her patience with Sora, and kicks him out of their home...
