Synopsis
Drama based on a literary work published in 2006 about an NPO that helps young adults such as "NEET (those Not in Education, Employment or Training)" and "Hikikomori (those who withdraw from social life and keep themselves isolated at home)" to rejoin society. Michiru is an NPO staff, helping "Hikikomori" by patiently communicating with them. Hitoshi, an office worker, comes to help the NPO on weekends, but thinks her efforts are needless meddling and that the young adults are merely emotionally dependent. The drama emphasizes on the importance of communication, which lacks in present day society. --NHK
