Jiro, having made a name for himself as a tough-as-nails frontline reporter, is transferred back to Tokyo from a stint in a small local bureau. Although he hopes that this will be the return to high profile journalism he has been waiting for, he discovers that he has been asked to manage a group of journalists who seem to keep themselves busy doing anything but journalism! Jiro cannot accept defeat so easily, and pushes his staff to gradually become better journalists and people. With his drive and energy, Jiro rallies his team to the cause and shows us all the power of the human spirit and believing in yourself.
