Synopsis

- The Family (家) is part of Ba Jin's "Torrents Trilogy" (激流三部曲) along with Spring (春) and Autumn (秋). Originally the three stories were going to be adapted into one epic television series, but given the incredible amount of effort and commitment that would necessitate from numerous parties, a decision was made to produce each one separately.*
