Hi, your recent edits to IRIS have been reverted. Instead of plagiarizing large text passages from Wikipedia, you should rather have linked to the Wikipedia article in the "External Links" section. We prefer short synopses over large plot summaries on our drama pages. Also, we usually credit the source when we use text (e.g. synopses) from another website. --MoerkJ talk 14:35, 24 February 2013 (UTC)

Actually, both wikipedia's plot and this one was done by me; I hardly consider that plagiarizing since I'm copying and pasting my own work. However, I'm a bit lazy in adding in proper credits and tend to leave others to take care of such things. If you compare the edit histories, you should see my ID in both version of the edits to prove it's all my work. Taikage (talk) 01:37, 4 March 2013 (UTC)

::Ok, my bad then. You may add this very long plot summary on a subpage (e.g. IRIS/Plot) and link to it in the main article. IMHO, for our standards the text is just too long to be included directly on the IRIS page. Even on Wikipedia someone complained that your plot text is too long for their standards. Also, please add a spoiler tag in front of the plot text if it contains any spoilers... like on the page Tsubasa/Synopses for example. --MoerkJ talk 19:36, 6 March 2013 (UTC)

Anita Lee

Please avoid turning this article into a fandork article. DramaWiki has a stance on being an anti-fancruft wiki. Groink 03:08, 25 Aug 2007 (CDT)

I'm merely writing a page regarding the actress with all the info i can gather for the sake of some admirer's that still remember her.... and also i'm not fan of her work at all so please don't apply "fandork" when it's only your opinion and not other people. I'll gladly take the title of "fandork" should everyone labels me so. 04:50, 25 Aug 2007

I didn't say you're a fandork. I said the crap you're putting on DramaWiki is fandork material. I can write pages about Rosie O'Donnell but that doesn't mean I'm a fan of her. Get it? Also, DramaWiki is NOT a site to create an article for an artist in order to satisfy "some admirers". That's where the fandork-ism come into play, and that's where the fansites come in handy. DramaWiki is not to be used as a free-bee fansite for artists. Groink 01:35, 12 Sep 2007 (CDT)

I admit i wrote more than i should, but what makes a good page about an entertainer or artist is to know something about them aside from just listing their works,it's a cold representation about who they are. We got IMDB and various asian sites already for those sort of data, the tiny things count. Besides, it would boost interest to the web site if more people knew about the person aside from their list of dramas. By far one the rarest info people don't ever provide is the fate of these actors. Are they retired? dead? or just temporarily gone? You have a very impressive collection of listed people, but aside from a name and what they acted on, there's nothing else. Not even wikipedia has your vast list so you have the chance to provide something more. I merely gave a paragraph, not like i added 2-pager about the complete life of the entertainer. You mean to tell me you never wanted to know something about a specific entertainer you saw many years ago and found only their profile? Didn't you ever wanted to know is this person still performing? Or retired? Regarding Anita Lee, she's not known a lot by ABC's so it's almost impossible to know a thing about her in english. To date, there's no english based site for this entertainer, probably she exist in some China web page, but us ABC's can't read chinese so we wouldn't know what we're looking at unless it's translated in front of us. However you're one of the maintainers of the site and i can't do much about it either. As for Joyce Cheng, she's about to be featured and starring a few TV roles and movies, just not yet though. However if you require the person to be featured only after they've done something, then i can't argue that as well. However i want to know are you at least fine with me adding a very quick and brief info about the actor. I assure you it's a few sentences, but nothing big. ok? 03:39, 12 Sep 2007

Plagiarized text for IRIS removed
