Synopsis
Kamimura Kensaku is an archeologist who had discovered the historic ruins of Shiona, a heretofore unknown period that is set to change pre-historic Japan as we know it. The town of Shiona, with it's declining population, suddenly becomes a tourist spot due to the excavation of the ruins. Sakuma Rina is an editor working for a publisher, and she hurries into Shiona to try to change the history books, without any emphasis on investigation or examination of the ruins. Rina, who is a historical fanatic, finds herself charmed by Kensaku's personality.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, Sawawatari Zenzou, who happens to be Kensaku's senpai, is terribly jealous of him but yet watches over him constantly. Kensaku is now under investigation by Detective Yukinaga Taiichi, as the skeleton of his assistant who went missing 13 years ago has been found. At the same time, as the revised textbooks are being printed, someone comes forward and informs Rina that Kensaku had fabricated the ruins discovery... by WOWOW
