Synopsis
Katherine Turner is the daughter of the Vice President of the United States, and she had come with her father on his official visit to Japan. Since she runs a flower arrangement business back in the US, Katherine decides to stay on in Japan to learn Ikebana, after her father had returned home at the end of the official visit. Japan's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hamaguchi Yukio, asks his nephew, Ichiro, to escort Katherine during her extended stay in Japan with the strict instructions that he is not to fall in love with her.

Synopsis
The US Vice President's daughter, Katherine Turner (Charlotte Kate Fox) is back in Kyoto, Japan to visit her friend and chaperone, assistant university professor, Hamaguchi Ichiro (Tanihara Shosuke). She meets his student, Tanaka Yoshimi (Kurokawa Tomoka), the sole successor to a thousand year old traditional Kyoto house. Then, the next day, Yoshimi is kidnapped. Her parents have already paid the kidnapper's ransom demand of 50 million yen. Even so, Yoshimi has not been returned. Sensing the kidnapper is a cruel and treacherously greedy criminal, Katherine devises a way to save Yoshimi... Meanwhile, a female employee from an apparel company is murdered. Inside the room of the victim, police find a picture of Ichiro...
