Synopsis
Satoko (Shimizu Misa) is an ordinary bank teller with aspirations to someday become a manga-ka, or graphic novel artist. In her spare time, she draws and inks her own stories and submits them to publishers, who one after another reject her work because it's... missing something. (It's implied that she lacks credentials as an apprentice to an established manga-ka to pay her dues.) But quite by chance, Satoko stumbles onto a sudden vacancy to apprentice for her idol, Kurebayashi Mayuko (Ohtake Shinobu). What is her idol like? Satoko imagines her new boss must be like one of the angelic heroines in her own comics, but the reality is something different. --mt23--
