She met Zhi Lin during a trip to Japan with her college friends 4 years ago. They happened to be seated next to each other and conversation started. Zhi Lin got sick from the plane ride, so Gung Sa allowed him to rest his head on her shoulder. Feelings grew. They spent time together in Japan and their relationship went the next level. Gung Sa didn't expect Zhi Lin to fall for her for real. She only wanted to have a good time and forget the whole ordeal when she returned to Taiwan after her vacation. Yet, Zhi Lin revealed to her that she was his first love. Zhi Lin went to look for her once he returned to Taiwan. Gung Sa tried to avoid him, thinking that she was too old for him. He was only eighteen years-old at the time, and she didn't want him to regret it; but she couldn't hide her true feelings for him any longer. They decided to be together. She worked as a waitress in a Japanese restaurant, while he continued his studies. Their relationship grew deeper until his mother broke them up. ~End of Flashback~

Zhi Lin couldn't handle the fact that his first love played him, so he became a womanizer for the following 4 years just to play back as many women in revenge. But despite his playboy exterior, he always had his one and only true love in mind...Gung Sa. It hurt him to see her as his brother's wife, and he couldn't accept it. He was going to get her back no matter what. Even if it meant hurting his brother, Zhi Lian. Especially since he found out that it was his own mother who split them up. Gung Sa did love him then, and she never played him.
