Synopsis
On a rainy day, 11-year-old girl Ishioka Aoi, suddenly disappeared around a rice field road where sunflowers bloom, leaving only one umbrella. Inspector Nara Kenichi rushes to the scene after receiving the report. He meets Ishioka Masanori, Aoi's father, who has been living separately from his family, while he and his wife are in the middle of divorce proceedings. Masanori wants to participate in the search and while searching for Aoi, Kenichi remembers his younger sister, Mayuko, who has been shutting herself off from everyone after being attacked when she was a student. This incident caused Kenichi to become a detective as he regretted not being able to protect his sister. Due to this, Kenichi wants to do his best to bring Aoi back to her family.
