Synopsis

A lonely 62-year-old man, Kataoka Eikichi believes that he is suffering serious stomach cancer and has a very short time left to live. One day, he turns up in front of a family of his son who died three years ago. The son who Eikichi broke off his relations 20 years ago left four members of his family; Natsuko, his wife and three children. At first, the find Eikichi's unexpected visit a nuisance, but gradually, as they live together, they begin to understand one another.

Synopsis
