Synopsis
Higurashi Masanao, often called as Masa, is a former yankee who now runs a small izakaya near the sea. Although Masa has many cuts on his face which makes many fear him, Masa is actually a kind-hearted man who has great knowledge of plants and animals. One day, Masa meets a 5-year-old girl, Kanaka, who ran away from a suspicious man. Kanaka has a mysterious power of reading people's heart and she was often sent by her uncle Sawada to gambling houses. Kanaka who has always been surrounded by bad adults, feels a sense of security when she reads Masa's heart and decides to ask Masa for help. Masa decides to take Kanaka with him and run away. What will happen to Kanaka and Masa who suddenly became a "kidnapper"?
