Synopsis
The remake of Singapore's most watched Blockbuster Drama The Little Nyonya. Qian Jin spans around three generation. Set in the 1930s, Fang Xi Ruo,the youngest daughter of Fang Jin Qian(played by Jacky Lui) and his second wife An Tian Lan(played by Pan Yi Jun). She became mute at a very young age. She was often mistreated by her family because of her disability and her mother's status in the family as a 2nd wife.
Years passed by,Xi Ruo was 18 years old then. Xi Ruo grew up to be a beauty. Her younger brother Ya Kun loved her,but she rejected him a lot of times. Many things happened,one day she met the love of her life,Ling Chao Yan. Due to many circumstances,the pair of lovebirds eloped and got married. They both had a daughter,Qian Jin.
When Qian Jin was three years old,Chao Yan ran away. Xi Ruo struggled to make ends meet and in the end returned back to her parents.
The unmarried Fang Yakun offered to take care of the mother and daughter. Sadly,soon Xi Ruo passed away.
15 years passed by. Qian Jin grew up to be a fine beauty just like her mom. She looked exactly like her mom. Fate made her meet Ling Zhi Chu and another man. Ling Zhi Chu was her cousin. Unknowingly he fell in love with her but Qian Jin fell in love with another man. What will Qian Jin's fate be like ?
