About Yuuya

From a stranger to household name since his winning at the 57th Cannes Film Festival for his portrail of 12 year old Akira in the highly acclaimed 2004 film Nobody Knows. He is the youngest winner and also the first for a Japanese. The same year TIME magazine named him Asia's Best Heroes. The following year he starred in in the box office hit Shining Boy and Little Randy. His next venture will be in the romance film Sugar & Spice~Fuumi Zekka which will feature his first onscreen kiss.
