Synopsis
Li Shanqi, a betel nut seller from Taiwan, was forced to flee the country after offending a local underworld leader. Packing her late mother's belongings, she travels to Singapore where she hopes to reunite with her birth father, jewellery merchant Zhang Mingsheng.
