Synopsis

Love Scar is a Chinese Television System (CTS) original mini-series released in 2002 starring Karen Mok, Jerry Yan, and Jacky Cheung. It was first aired in Taiwan with the Chinese title Lian Ai Shang Heng, then it was broadcasted in several Asian neighbor countries.

Love Scar is the story of one woman who found herself torn between the love of two brothers. BEWARE OF LIGHT SPOILERS Gen Sha (Karen Mok) met Zi Lin (Jacky Cheung)in a tour to Japan 4 years ago with her college friends, and they were eventually attracted to each other despite of their age difference. They continued their relationship back in Taiwan and this was found out by Zi Lin's mother. Since Zi Lin was still a university student at that time, his mother begged Gen Sha to leave him. Unaware of the real reason because Gen Sha told him that she wanted only to have a good time after he revealed that she was his first love, Zi Lin was devastated with their break up.

Now Gen Sha is meeting her husband, Zi Lian's family for the first time...only to find out that her ex-boyfriend, Zhi Lin is her husband's younger brother. She fainted at the airport due to the major shock. Flashbacks of how she met Zhi Lin all came back...

Zi Lin couldn't handle the fact that his first love played him, so he became a womanizer for the following 4 years just to get revenge on all women. But despite his playboy exterior, he always had his one and only true love in mind...Gen Sha. It hurt him to see her as his brother's wife, and he couldn't accept it. He was going to get her back no matter what. Even if it meant hurting his brother, Zi Lian. Especially since he found out that it was his own mother who split them up. Gen Sha did love him then, and she never played him.

Zi Lian accidentally found out. Shocked at the discovery, Zi Lian is heartbroken. Seeing the mess she had caused between the 2 brothers, Gen Sha felt very guilty and decided to leave them both. Yet, both brothers told her that they will be waiting for her to come back to them when she was ready...
